Almost isn't doing it and most of that was facing teams in prevent and who have never gameplanned for him, now against the Jags that is applicable. The Texans not so much if he starts the next 2 games.

Let's just say maybe, if they planned on starting Jake, they might compose a game plan for Jake. Maybe? Is that possible? You know, practice those plays all week so they can use them. Put those plays on the limited space they have on the play sheet. It works both ways folks. For every comment we see of "the opposition didn't gameplan for Jake", we should also logically think in our minds "But Jake has never been handed a play sheet full of plays tailored and practiced all week for him either. Plays that are designed to make use of his skill set". Can we at least concede that? Sure, there are a number of plays that either guy can run that don't require a week of practice for the whole offense to be on the same page, but it's nowhere near like handing Jake a full gameplan. Also, how often has the offense had to run a scramble drill with Matt in the game? Somewhere real close to zero I'd guess. You think if they decided to start Jake they might practice that a few times?

So.. Hasslebeck loses to the team that is the subject of your sig, Locker comes in and scores more in 2 minutes than HB had in 3 quarters....

But despite this... you think because Locker has 0 wins in 0 starts, HassleCollins is the best option.

Yes Gunny, that is the epitome of logic.

Seriously?? With that logic no rookie would EVER see the field because you can always find a veteran who has more wins than 0...

It's not about him never winning, it's about questioning why he gives us the best chance now when he has never won and never really faced a proper defense?

    You misunderstand, but that's expected.

There is no reason to believe Locker gives us the best chance of winning is my point. He might win, I'm not saying he can't or won't but 90% of his experience has come with the opposition playing backed off defense because they've had such a big lead.

Look, it's valid and as I said, I'm not saying he can't or won't win I'm saying there is no evidence to suggest he is the better option.
Regardless, like TJ Yates, I don't think the Jags and Texans will ever have enough to properly gameplan for him if he were to start the next 2 games.
