Hasselbeck better remain Starter

Do you honestly believe Munchak is getting fired regardless of how Locker plays in the last two games? We have a better record than last year with a significant contribution from Munchak's rookie class.

For just a second think logically.

 

I made sure to get chit faced durring this game, and F#CK YOU! Hasselbeck needs to retire.

 

Cincy only needs to lose 1 of 2 games ... they play Cards and Ravens still

Jets need to lose 2 of 3 games ... they play Eagles, Giants, Miami

raiders need to lose 1 of 2 ... KC, SD

This is assuming the same tie breaking scenarios exist. I'm not 100% sure how this loss effects the tie breaker scenarios, so some of the above might change a little.

I just checked, we still win the 3 way tie it appears so what I said above would get us in

 

There is no way Munchak is going to be fired. It simply won't happen. He wasn't given an opportunity to help players, develop them and find his identity as a coach. Although I can pin a few of our losses directly on him...my hope is that he settles in and starts sparking interest within our organization. He needs more pep and swagger.

I hate to say it but I do remember Fisher on the sidelines coaching up our team...Munch just chews gum and scratches his neck. (NOTE: I don't want Fisher but that is something I did admire about him).

 

Locker needs to start.

1. Forget about saving face, this Coaching staff needs to show that they are not stubborn like Fisher was, and they are willing to admit mistakes and make the necessary corrections.

2. Why would we want to lose games, so we can move up a couple slots in the draft? This team is young and talented, but they lack that "winning mentality". They need as much confidence going into next year as possible.

3. Locker is the future and the better player. The coaches need to show Locker they are committed to him, and they need to show the players that they will play the best player, not the veteran. That really hurt the team in the past, and for the most part this coaching staff has been good at playing the best player. They need to continue the trend.

 

Munch won't get fired, he is a good coach, and has accomplished a lot more this year than anyone expected. This loss really sucks, but overall he has done a good job this season

 

He hung around with hasslebeck too long today. Was evident early in 3rd quarter that we weren't going to win the game on his arm. Locker should absolutely take over now.

 

Yes, consistancy in coaching has been the missing ingredient. Of course, how did I miss it!? Do you know, Donnie Nickey?
