A case of a player not knowing/ accepting when it is time to hang 'em up.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in as our 4th receiver for the last three games and let him retire a Titan. He would get more involved than Avery or Mariani.

There is no way signing Mason can benefit us. Not unless we have absolutely nowhere else to turn. If neither Randy Moss or Donnie Avery can catch on with the team well into the season, then neither can Derrick Mason.

And I do believe the outsider WR the local players allowed to work out with them was Golden Tate from the Seahawks.

His skills have diminished and he should hang it up at this point but he sure has had a long career.

Don't the Texans lose a future pick? Didn't they trade for him for a draft pick?

A 7th round pick was contingent on him catching 30 or more balls. He only caught around 5-6 if even that.

To put this simply, yet to the point:

He, Javon Kearse, and Bulluck have all expressed their true colors as whiners, which is fine while you are productive, but none of these players were/are at the time of their whining's onset.

Mason wasn't that much of a whiner, but with his trash-talk... I would rather never see him as a Titan again. You don't burn your bridges.

One of the few players where I can say.. I dont care what he wants.

He burned his bridge a long time ago. If he came in, Id just deal but he would be one of those players were you dont like the player, just hope he helps the team.
