    Jags being sold to Illinois businessman (AP)

    A person familiar with the decision says Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver is selling the team to Illinois businessman Shahid Khan. The person told The Associated Press that Khan, who was born in Pakistan in 1950 and moved to the United States when he was 16, and Weaver's deal is not expected to move the team. LINK

    Nothing's in writing but the new owner promised not to move the team.....

    Hello Los Angeles!!


    As soon as LA gets a team they will have to move a team or two in realignment.I don't expect it to be big changes but maybe something like swapping St. Louis out of the NFC west and into the AFC South and maybe sticking LA/Jax in the NFC West.

    Seattle/Arizona/San Fran/LA.....NFC WEST,makes sense

    Tennessee/Houston/Indy/St. Louis...AFC SOUTH

    I'm sure Weaver does all his business dealings on trust, never puts anything in writing...:sarcasm:
    Weaver just doesn't want to be blamed when Jacksonville loses the team. If he really cared he could have put in a clause that they had to remain in Jacksonville X number of years after the sell, but who would've bought them then?
