The second one, although I'm apprehensive about picking Still because of the recent history of Penn State defensive tackles. I still don't get the Jermaine Kearse love. He was blasted last year as the only decent receiver Locker had yet still sucked.

I'm a big fan of DeCastro and consider him to be the best guard and second best interior lineman behind Konz, but I don't think the drop off between DeCastro and Osemele or Glenn is significant enough to warrant a first round selection. I just don't think the value is there.

Hopefully we're able to sign Carl Nicks or Ben Grubbs to avoid drafting a guard in the first round. I can see the Saints letting Nicks go after giving Jahri Evans a bunch of money last year. The Ravens gave Marshall Yanda a boatload last season too, so Grubbs might be let go.

I like that idea, but Titans do not have a good track record with 2s, or 1s, or 3s ...

Idk about the safest thing, i didn't want em. But my Pick went to the eagles and hasn't really accomplished much either. I'm not saying I've got god send talent scouting. And you may be right... But i just don't think we are going to see much outta him ^in general. Average, he doesn't scare anyone.

My reasoning behind decastro is simple... Our o line is pathetic. He's shown great run and pass blocking... Why not fortify our line with the safest pick. Sure that doesn't mean he won't come ^in and be a bust... But its very unlikely. If we could get a top ten 3 pick and grab blackmon, that would be fantastic. Bt it's not going to happen so fix our biggest problem... I don't think it's a coaching problem... It's a talent problem.

We need to beef up on dline and oline. Dline especially, every good defense has a legit front 7. That's how a defense is made. For example, look at the Ravens/Niners game. Casey and Still could be the dominant middle DTs we need.

I'm not a huge fan of Kearse, but of the couple Washingtong games I've watched he's impressed me. Solid route runner, decent size, decent speed. Reminds me of Damian Williams actually. I feel like bringing Lockers security blanket it could be very helpful for his growth.

I don't see us getting Nicks and Grubbs. Would be awesome, but don't see it. Instead I'd rather go after Nick Hardwick (C for the Chargers). He'd be cheaper then both, and is still only 29/30 and a pro-bowl level center. Only reason he's not making the Pro Bowl regulary is Saturday and Mangold. Having a vet bruising/physical center could help us so much. Then draft a LG 1st or 2nd. Then Amano, Harris, and Velasco can battle for the RG spot.

Yeah I'm a big fan of that trade. We don't have one HUGE need, but could use OG, SS, DE, and WR. Having three twos could be huge. I love that draft you have above.

How about this for a Mock Draft

Round 1 Alameda Ta'amu, NT, Washington
Round 2 Mark Barron, SS, Alabama
Round 3 Marvin McNutt, WR, Iowa
Round 4 Ben Habern, C, Oklahoma
Round 4 Rokevious Watkins, G/T, South Carolina
Round 5 Malik Jackson, DE, Tennessee
Round 6 Landon Walker, OT, Clemson
Round 7 Nathan Stupar, OLB, Penn State

Some of you might say we draft to many defensive lineman last year, but it's still a need. Ta'amu is a big guy who will replace the role of Smith next year. Casey will have a bigger role next year also and some experience, theirs your two starters Casey and Ta'amu. With Klug coming in on third downs to rush the tired lineman. Outside of Morgan, who isnt very impressive, we have no threat at the END I would like to address it early but doubt it happens. So if he is still available you take Jackson who is someone under the radar and is a very good DE for Tennessee.

No doubt the o-line needs fixed but im not wasting a first or second or even a third. So in the fourth we take Watkins and Habern. Both very good at pass and run blocking, Habern broke his arm so his stock might take a hit which will be good for us. For insurance will take a OT late in the draft Walker who is a decent raw player to be molded.

We are def getting a fourth round pick for Babin and Tully if not more both are having pro bowl years.

McNutt is one of my favorite late round sleepers at reciever he should be taken somewhere round 2 or 3. That gives us britt at 1 mccutt at 2 and williams at 3 doesnt sound two bad

Lastly, Stupar from Penn State. They are a factory for good linebackers so he will be our last pick of the draft. Witherspoon is done next year or has one last year left. Giving Stupar some time to refine his skills.

Not sold of Alameda Ta'amu being a first round talent. I see him more of a 2nd-3rd round type of guy. He lacks play-maker ability, and is more of just a "big body". As you said, "Ta'amu is a big guy who will replace the role of Smith next year". Smiths role is to be big and plug up the middle. When we have Shaun Smith for a couple more years, do we really want to use a first rounder of someone who can just plug up the middle? Besides Shaun Smith isn'
t terrible, he does his job. If we got DT first round, we need a playmaking DT, not just a big body.
