So if they're a mediocre team that consistently dominates bad teams and plays well against better teams... then what are the Titans?

The Titans are not inconsistent.....

THEY ARE JUST MEDIOCRE.

Outside of the 1st 2 games.... They beat bad teams and lose to good ones...

The true inconsistent team is the Ravens.... as evidence by their losses to the Jags and Seahawks as well.

 

I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't finish 9-7 at least

Ideally will finish 10-6 (wins over TB, Buf, Jax, Ind & Hou and a loss to NO)

 

You're right about the sky not falling.

It's already down and we're trying to pick up the pieces.

We've had some nice wins but against solid opposition our weaknesses are exposed.

The O Line and D Line need a complete overall with 2-3 players in the middle of both lines a must to replace.

Cook is a bust.
D Williams might get there eventually but Hawkins is terrible.

Are Palmer and Gray turds or are they handicapped by having so many holes in their units?

Is Munchak made oftheright stuff?

We are in rebuilding mode and we have a lot to fix.

 

I'm already trying to look forward to next year.

 

Did you watch the game? I know we are 5-5, but you do not make the playoffs playing like this. That first half was pathetic. Boy, I hope I'm wrong and we get to the playoffs. I just don't see how.

 

The big question is, what is Bruce Matthews doing to that O-Line. They get worse from week to week.

 

I don't know that the 3 stooges that we have in the middle can be fixed.

A five man unit can maybe carry a weak link but when you have 3 weak links you no longer have a unit.

Would we really be any worse off if all 3 were cut immediately. Ridiculous thing to say but I don't think that we could get much worse.

 

I didn't appreciate Mawae enough. Can't believe how progressively worse the run blocking has become in his absence.

Some people have said we've switched to a zone-blocking scheme under Palmer, how much of an effect has this had? It's safe to say the interior 3 may have been products of a man-blocking system...
