Looks like it's Vince Young time

The funny thing about Fisher and his one Super Bowl appearance:

It came by way of one of the most fluke plays in NFL history.

We had once again allowed a team beat us to close a game... and then the special teams pulled a rabbit from their azz. - Which ended up saving Fisher's job for a decade more.

 

Yes but Fisher himself called the play that you're referring to.

 

Well because of his immaturity and unwillingness to dedicate himself 100% to being the best QB he can be, it's good for my blood pressure he's no longer on our team. BUT I still like the dude. He's a very exciting player to follow regardless of where he is. If he had never been a Titan, I'd still wish him well, and follow his career. It just so happens that he did stop by the Titans for a time and electrify Titan fans. The bad doesn't overshadow the good at all for me. You seem bitter about it. I'm just happy for him and yes us too that he's in Philly.

In Philly I get to enjoy what ever good Vince achieves, and let those fans worry about him. Not MY problem, get how that works...

As for Hasselbeck beating the Broncos, great, love it. But with Hasselbeck, he's not winning the game on one play, he's beating them over the whole duration of the game. I'm thrilled with Hasselbeck so far, he's done more than most ever thought he'd do. But there lies the problem, he's not going to be the one winning us games much longer. As the season progresses he'll begin wearing down. He's 36, I mean come on.... C.J. needs to carry this team here on out. C.J. is a lot like Vince Young was. Do well here, do bad there, break one loose for a 60-yard TD. Hasselbeck isn't exciting at all, he's too white bread to fall in love with. He's like a rich husband, you don't marry him for love, but for security.

 

That's what I hate about Jeff Fisher. He preaches the basics over and over, but when someone magical like Vince Young comes in, someone who regularly can make something out of nothing, much like the Music City Miracle did, he gets forced to turn into Fisher's robot QB. Let Vince be Vince and he'll score 100 more TD's than that Miracle play ever could. You wouldn't have a need for that type of desperation move.

Where Vince and Steve differed was in how they used Fisher sorry azz QB script. Steve made the most of it, and forced Fisher to let him breath. Vince told Jeff to F**K off.

 

Just as much credit (if not more) should go to Lowry... and he's a mediocre STs coach.

This has probably already been posted been out of town a few days but...............Did anyone else see where McCoy had to tell Vince that the play was out of the shotgun and not under center? He doesnt know the playbook. VY biggest problem maybe that he doesnt put the time in to be a pro.

 

I read somewhere where someone said Vince was working hard this year and studying a lot of film. I think the person who was quoted saying that was Vince Young.
