Anyone know where there is a chart showing how often teams thow between the hash marks vs throwing towards the edges? My gut feeling is that the Titans are absoutly horrified of throwing down the middle of the field - where TEs roam. Not as many bad things happen when teams throw too the edges.

This lack of attack down the middle, where the tarpkitties and so many others have punished the Titans, limits the TE production.

Sadly I have just me watching Titan games too back this up though.

At the risk of starting another VY rant by a few of his faithful, he often struggled making the pass to the middle. If he overthrew a ball out towards the edge, it likely goes out-of-bounds instead of into the hands of the safety.

I've watched enough camp to know they have a lot of routes for Cook and Stevens which have them cross inside or go down the middle. I hope we see more of it Sunday along with the quick slant. If the Titans want to make some room in the box to run, they have to hit some passes behind the LBs.

    Once again...

Jared Cook isn't being a diva and feeding off his own hype like CJ.

If he were, bet ya he'd get the reverse treatment.

Same with the OL. How many of those guys held out and whined about a contract after underperforming like CJ did last year?

    CJ asked for this criticism.

Troupe was a dumb@$$ who could not even find his mouth with spoon even if he had a map.

Cook to me looks very talented and just needs more opportunities. I can't say he will be great or will be a bust. But personally I think he has the talent to become a good weapon for this team if allowed by the coaches.

Actually, it looked more to me like a double standard. If Cook were putting up any production remotely close to what CJ has, or was even a top five TE, you don't think he'd feel deserving of more money? Would you blame him if he did?

Trying to have a rationale discussion with Deuce probably is impossible.
    The guy is clueless.

Actually, on top of it all, CJ ended up not getting a massive deal. A good one yes but not a massive deal like people thought he might be asking for. And he held out to get that (by the way we have OL guys making close to what CJ will make after this year on his deal and they don't deserve it IMO, especially giving 5 mil to guy in the middle who don't look very good right now).

So what is hypocritical and a double standard as well is any one of us on this board would have done exactly the same thing as CJ or we would have been stupid not to.
