With the bye week next week, I am expecting to see some different things when we come back. I suspect that we will see less CJ and more Ringer and Harper, or they may try and change things up position wise to see if it helps get better blocking for CJ. I'd say their patience is wearing thin with the run game and they know that we are not contenders if we can't get the run game going as we simply don't have a better than average WR corps. I also must say that the knee jerk reactions on this board is just uncalled for.

Im with you all the way. Let's be honest, we never even thought we would be at this point. I am very happy with what the Titans have shaped out to be thus far (besides CJ)... I cant wait to beat the Texans

3-2 is much better than most thought we would be at this point, and the fact that everyone in the division lost makes this loss not really mean much in the long run. I still like our chances at the playoffs this year. But what happened to our D today??????

I thought that we would be 4-1 or 3-2 at worst (I got it in writing months ago). We will be fine. I am worried about the NFC South in Nov. I am going to the Panther and Falcon games. I hope that we use this bye week to try out some DTs and WRs. I am not completely against getting TO.

I REALLY wanted to beat the Steelers today and thought we had a good shot to do it. It seems that the fake punt really stunned everyone and before you know it the score was 21-3. On the bright side, the team never quit and seemed to try to play all the way to the end.

All be it sloppy and mistake filled they didn't roll over and die like we've seen in the recent past (like the 59-0 loss I had the unfortunate pleasure of freezing my butt off and witnessing in person)! I'm still surprised we've played as good as we have so far this year considering the circumstances with new everything, loosing Britt, Cj taking an early retirement, the lockout etc. If you didn't expect growing pains or hiccups then you were in la-la land. I'm still optimistic about the future direction of this team and excited that we actually have a shot this season when initially I think most of us was thinking this was going to be a "write off" year. Hopefully the teams learns from this, gets rested up from the bye week and comes back stronger than ever!

Oh, and back in '08 when we spanked the Steelers at home with our banged up defensive line but then the Steelers went on to win the Super Bowl....who knows maybe the shoe will be on the other foot this time...lol!!

But seriously, at the end of the day that loss didn't really matter for them that year. I don't think they would trade their SB Championship for the win against us that day...I'll take this loss if we learn from it and improve going forward!

We basically let 4 huge plays absolutely strike down any momentum we had built up, the dropped TD pass by Washington, the Steelers' punter's throw of his lifetime, the 80 yard gash by J.Dwyer, and the tipped INT by Hasselbeck after that great onside kick revoery... had any one of those plays not happened, who knows how the game would have turned out. The Titans just looked incredibly unprepared for the Steelers and they made us pay big time!
After our first loss we had a nice 3 game win streak, back to the drawing board and hope for atleast another 3 game stretch of victories!

i agree... wouldn't it be sweet if we met them in a playoff game and because of the loss... we learned from their defense and avenged it?

extremely unlikely... but losses teaches more about ourselves than wins... (well.. unless the coach happened to be fisher and the DC happened to be Cecil)
