Seriously I hated kfc, but clearly if 'the Diva' would have even pretended to be a professional he would have vaulted over that useless sack of crap. BUT 'the Diva' was more interested in having burnt orange nut swingers around him instead of preparing too play agianst the good teams.

'the Diva' has shat his bed and now everyone can smell his stinky game.

 

My car broke down today, f**kin' Vince Young.

 

Collins was relatively good in 08, bad in 2009, and relatively good in 2010. Considering our options (and the fact that Bud Adams refused to accept the fact that Vince was a bust) KFC was the best choice. Sure, it would have been nice to have someone better than KFC. But the simple fact is there wasn't much available in FA and Vince simply wasn't playing well enough or staying healthy enough to take the reigns from KC.

And for the fools who think that KC would still be here , let's not forget that Collins left on his own terms (the Titans obviously still had some interest) and was only lured back by the Colts for a cool 6.5 million (something we certainly would never have offered him). So it's extremely likely Hasseback would be the current QB regardless.

 

you are giving way too much credit to kFc and way too much credit to Fisher to think he would have went a different direction at qb.

 

Damn you, Vince...

 

It's hard to admit that one of your first round draft picks wasn't good. But think back to that class of first rounders that VY came out of:

Jay Cutler - Another prima donna QB, slightly less drama queenish than VY, just as frustrating.
Antonio Cromartie - Flashed in 2007, and then fizzled.
Matt Leinart - Lost starting job to old guy in Arizona. I had to look up where he is now.
Joseph Addai - Plays make-believe about a running game in Indy after Edge James.
Laurence Maroney - Never hit 1K rushing yards for a season in New England where opponents must defend the pass.
Reggie Bush - He did decent, but didn't revolutionize football like he was predicted to do.

There are some good players that did come out of this draft, but it wasn't anyone that was expected to. I had faith that over the past 4 years prior to this season that Vince would get us somewhere. I also used to believe in Santa. At this point, I'd start him at QB before VY.

 

Looks like Vince wasn't the only quarterback to struggle with Pittsburgh.........

And on a side note, did anyone catch a highlight of Matt Cassel cussing out Todd Haley on the sideline? OMG Todd Haley is his COACH!

Why hasn't this gotten more play in the news? I mean if a spat between player and coach behind closed doors can make the national media, why not this openly viewed spat?

 

1) The Chiefs are irrelevant.
2) It seems that everyone has gotten into a shouting match with Haley. That's why Weiss left.
3) Matt Cassel wasn't a top college star and a "running" quarterback who has had his entire career under a microscope.
4) Todd Haley isn't focused on building relationships with the media.

 

Haley has his arms folded across his body. Biche reaction- he was scared of Cassel.

What a puss.

 

I think it was more about restraint and him not accidentally jamming his thumbs into the eye sockets of his teams qb.
