Bench Amano; Start Velasco!

Matthews isn't active for games because Velasco is just as good or better at center and is also pretty good at guard which I've never seen Matthews play.

 

as a former offensive linemen, I am loving all the talk of the OLine. Shows me that people realize how valuable a great offensive line is

 

I don't have high hopes for Kevin Matthews. If he turns into a solid backup, then I'll be content.

I hope we don't go WR in the 1st RD. I don't think it's that big of need since we have an established #1 WR in Britt, Washington is a solid Z, Williams is young and at worst looks like a solid slot WR, and Cookie still has mountains of potential. I think it'd be a luxury, and besides that, I think the value will be better in the 2nd-3rd RDs.

Put me in the same boat as the guys who thought the OL would improve with Amano and Harris. Figured that since Amano held his own at LG, then C should be fine since he'd get help more often, and after Harris showed promise in spot duty, I thought he'd be a better fit at LG than Amano was.
