He can play. But the question is whether he's healthy or not- or can stay that way.

Jets fans used to be excited about him- same with Panthers. But injuries...

He has a lot of over the shoulder catches where he just beats corners for a step or 2.

He definitely has the appropriate name also. He's a clown.

If Gage isn't signing because of wanting more money, I'd be shocked. It's not like the guy's phone is ringing off the hook.

Find someone to stretch the field.

I'm not sure why Gage didn't jump at the chance to come back simply because he probably would have had a chance at getting significant playing time and maybe with Hass playing well put up some decent numbers. Even if it is to audition for his next team it beats sitting at home and for all practical purposes his career might be over.

I'm sure he wanted a guarantee he would be paid his salary for the whole year which would prevent the Titans from signing him just for a game or two while they looked for someone else and then dumping him or bringing up a PS player that was ready. But even if he was week to week I think he is missing a decent opportunity to prolong his career. Like you said, his phone isn't going to be ringing off the hook.

Oh, what is the deal with these ex-Rams WRs. Avery was an early 2nd round pick and Gilyard was the first pick in the 4th round. That has to hurt using decent picks on guys that you end up releasing after a few years.

It reminds me of the luck the Titans have had drafting WRs.

What is Gage thinking? Sign with a team your familiar with and where you will get some playing time or...stay at home waiting for who exactly?

I like Clowney, all the Jets fans around here were upset he had to leave New York. I'd be perfectly happy if we sign him.

Reinfeldt: Justin, we'd like to bring you back for the vet minimum plus incentives.

Gage: Would that mean I have to give up my new career as a brain surgeon?

You can't win unless you play the game. I'm glad the Titans are taking a risk here. Gage was the safe option, he wasn't going to do anything spectacular. I'm glad they're taking a chance on a possible big play maker. Sometimes two birds in the bush beat 1 in hand..... if you have a bad bird in hand.

    GO BIG!
