I'm surprised Ryan Fitzpatrick , Matt Hasselbeck, Tony Romo and Matthew Stafford are all ahead of Aaron Rodgers. It's only 2 games but Rodgers is playing really well and 2-0, so to see Hasselbeck up there is what we're gonna need this year.

This is only my second post here but my first was buried in a game thread, so I'll reiterate some of it here. Coming from a Seahawk fan since the teams inception, I believe the Titan's have done very well for themselves getting Matt and Jake. If the O line protects Matt like they did yesterday, he will have a pro-bowl worthy season. When he has protection, which he hasn't had for some time in Seattle, he will be awesome. And Jake will serve you well as his replacement, be it for a play, a series, a game, or when he takes over for his 10 to 15 year run. I bought my flaming thumbtack hat several weeks ago and wear it proudly on occasion. I wouldn't be surprised if the Titans game drew better ratings here than the Seahawks did yesterday as it was broadcast on the local CBS channel at the same time as the Seahawks.

No matter what Carroll and company say, they are not stupid enough to have not brought back Matt if they intended to win this year. They are playing for one of next years top QB's in the draft. In the mean time they will break in their young O line. If freaking Indy gets Andrew Luck, how upset will you be? I know I'll be burned!!!

Also, man do I love BIG PLAY BABS!

    Thanks for your input.

Hasselbeck did an amazing job yesterday of reading the defense. He never got flustered which the Ravens defense can do to a bunch of QBs. Pass protection is one thing that our OL can do well. I feared that our running game would suffer since we didn't upgrade our interior OL and that seems to be the case. But if Hasselbeck can continue to throw the ball like he has then the running lanes will open up a little bit more.

Yes, I hope so!!! One thing that is great, was that, our offensive line did not allow a sack. I am so happy that Hass stayed back in the pocket and looked so poised. He did take some shots, but made sure the throws were right on the money. In all seriousness, this is a better team than he has played for in Seattle, and I believe that he will have the protection he needs. When we went 13-3, I wasn't thoroughly convinced with the wins, because we were barely getting by. This game yesterday, against a very good team, was a game we hadn't seen in a long time. I know we have had games with marginal victories in the past, like Detroit and KC, but seriously, this game was really dominated by our entire team. I said in another thread, I was expecting us to go into the 3rd quarter and run the ball up the middle and play conservative. The Ratbirds catch up and we lose by a field goal in the last seconds. I then realized we don't have Fisher anymore. We didn't play conservative, we kept applying the pressure in all aspects of the game.

I know I keep rambling on, but our passing game brought back memories of when #9 was throwing. I'm just so DAMN HAPPY right now.

    GO TITANS!!!!

Wow, I know........ I can't stand Peyton Manning, but only because he is a great QB in our division. I do however wish him the best and hope he has a speedy recovery. The way we played yesterday, and the fire Our TITANS had, was unbelievable.

The ratbird forum is in chaos I bet. I wonder what they're sayin.

Hasselbeck was fantastic yesterday. Loving him so far! Best QB play we've had since McNair.

Cool we have the best pass O-line in the NFL.

It doesn't hurt that Britt is so darn good. Matt has had to work with less most of his carrier so I bet he feels like a kid with a new toy. And He'll help the rest of the receiving core to be much better. That he is used to….
