Do some of ya'll honestly think... (CJ booed)

^All much better than anything CJ has done in the past 2 weeks.

Give Harper Ringer AND CJ's carries though... that's the smart move.

 

He'll be embraced when he starts playing well.

 

He also had two catches (targeted twice) for 30 yards as compared to Johnson's three catches (targeted five times) for 12 yards and one drop (idk about the other one but the ball hit him in the hands underneath the defense on third down).

Ringer flat out has out performed Johnson so far and if Johnson doesn't get it going against the Broncos we need to start giving Ringer or Harper more carries.

 

I'll personally embrace him when he gives me $100,000.

And to be honest, it's not about getting 100 yards a game for CJ. Since when is 100 yards a benchmark to determine if a RB plays good or not? He just has to look more effective than he has been. I'll be fair and give him another week or 2.

 

I believe he will bounce back... especially if Hasselbeck keeps making defenses pay for loading the box... CJ is just not hitting the hole hard and he also missing holes... that is from a lack of practice.

Silver lining is that he didn't throw his pads in the stands when he got booed...

 

CJ's mindset: 'If I go here I can get 3 - 7 yards, but no I'm going to make this cut and maybe break me my big one.' (Even though he probably excludes the first part and is always looking for the big run.)

Ringer's mindset: 'I'm going to take these 3 -7 yards.'

 

That wasn't a trick play at all. It was a play with deception. Ringer out did CJ, plain and simple. I've stated before Ringer could make the Pro-Bowl with the right team (offense) and the starting job. But here in Tennessee, with CJ getting his share, that will never happen.

 

Exactly. It's nice to see someone else knows what they're talking about.
