    Locker isn't HALF as ready as Hasselbeck.

    You guys overrated any guy we draft to the extreme.

    He looked nothing over mediocre vs 2nd-3rd stringers in the preseason... he's got a long way to go.

    He looked pretty impressive his last pre-season game over 2nd stringers. Hasselbeck looked pretty good over 1st stringers in pre-season. The key word is that it was in pre-season.

    We don't know where Locker is at. We haven't seen his improvement.

    Locker isn't ready. Hasselbeck wasn't even ready. Let's not rush him in like we did with VY. let him learn the offense and how to be a pro quarterback.

    I agree with Deuce on this one, Locker is no where near ready. I'm just glad I don't have to watch Kerry Collins Quarterback our offense again, Hasselbeck is a decent upgrade over him.

    Let's have some patience people. It's only been one game and some of you guys are already calling for change again. How can anything ever solidify if you're always shuffling things around...ie...49rs and Alex Smith, how many offensive coordinators and systems have they been through over the past few years? Is that working for them?

    Look, I'm not happy with this loss either no fan likes to watch their team lose but I didn't exactly expect us to come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders in the first place. Think about it, new head coach, new DC, OC, line coaches, position coaches, we lost Washburn, which I personally think is a big loss. New Offensive scheme, defensive scheme, a new QB that just got here and had to learn an entirely new offense in a matter of weeks without the biggest play makers to develop timing and synergy.

    We had Mr. pay me like I'm a Qb Chris Johnson refuse to go to practice during negotiations (even after the team said they would make him the highest paid RB in the league even though he isn't the best RB in the league) and as a result he only had one week of practice, our best receiver hasn't been able to practice within the new system and work on timing with the new QB. Now, as if this isn't enough to have us starting at a huge disadvantage, let's not forget the lockout that robbed us of valuable "work out the kinks" time too. I think my biggest disappointment is coming from the OL, they should be the rock of the team. They've experienced the least amount of change as far as I'm concerned and should be able to get up to speed the quickest but so far has underperformed.

    While I'd love to see overnight success and turn around I am a realist and know that, rather you want to admit it or not, we are in the rebuilding phase and it's probably not going to happen over night. As long as I see positive improvement as the season unfolds and growth moving forward I'll be happy. My hope is that after the first few games pass, we do start to see some cohesiveness and the team gains momentum as the season goes on. I like the fact that as the game went on, the team didn't quit and they made adjustments and got better as the game continued, that in itself is an improvement over the last couple years.

    I agree but I fear the team has exactly zero players who care about winning

    CJ = CJ
    Britt = smoking dope
    DM = Hakuna Matata
    Amano = being a terruble C instead of a decent G
    Hall = juice, and yes he said it wasn't but I don't care what he says it was juice cause you only get suspended on the third time
    Marks, Hope & GIRLffin = who cares

    guess there might be some who act like pros and put the team first, but they have all been cleverly hiding it with their inept uninspired play
