Cam Newton is going off on the Cardinals

He just won a National Championship after pulling off one of the most impressive performances in college history, and his stock skyrocketed... And you're going to ridicule him for entering the draft, I mean, I know you don't always say the brightest things...but wow you still manage to surprise me lol.

Alright, let's be real, I'm pretty sure when he went back to school, he didn't lock himself in his room all day and study lol. But hey, he "made it" in life and obviously finishing that degree isn't necessary, but it's still something to be proud of for doing so, especially growing up in an environment where even dreaming about college was out of the question. What's your problem?

Just because your next response will be something along the lines of "I just say these things to rattle VY fans because it gets me off", I'll save you the trouble because no, you're still bitter about Fisher and still angry because you believe VY cost him his job, like let it go man, we all have, life's too short to be p*ssed off all the time.

There are always going to be crappy quarterbacks too. And that's why Cam will be the victim of this type of chatter.

My favorite QBs in the past have mostly been black- but Cam sucks. One lucky game vs zero defense after a crazy lockout wont change anything about his fall here in a season or 2.

 

biggest problem with 'the Divas' sudden caring about homework was that he should have been introducing himself too his new OC and learning the Titans playbook.

 

I'm no Cam fan either, but he did drop 422 passing yards. I won't claim to know if he'll ever amount to that level of production again. Whichever way his career goes, I won't be surprised. It's just that the character of the commentary about the guy since he came into the national spotlight has been unfortunate.

The fact that people were trying to crucify him over his "icon/entertainer" comment just made me want to see him do well.

I wish the guy nothing but continuous 422 yds passing games from now until he retires.

 

People crucify him because he's a convict that got away with whatever he wanted.

Let's not pretend he's innocent. Once his Heisman and NC trophy are stripped people will probably ease off a bit. Til then he's getting all he asked for...

He smiled his whole way through his scam at Auburn knowing he'd get away with it. That was what made me dislike him.

The amateurism of the NCAA is a lie. There's too much money in it for everyone else for me to cry foul over the kids taking what is relatively chump change.

you seem to ignore this part of it.

 

He didn't just "get paid".

His father had a live auction for his son with half of the conference.

Miss St and Tennessee threw some high offers but Auburn apparently went "all in".

It is how Auburn lures all those recruits to an interstate exit in the middle of nowhere Alabama....
