He ran 2 times for 14 yards after the injury, but it was obvious something was wrong.

...and he walked around with a boot, skipped his first pro bowl, etc, etc, etc.

No it's not wrong. What is wrong is having a running back go for 2000 yrds and then expecting him not to piss on $800,000 for the next year.

It's not just a business for the organization.

I know some 9-5ers like to get pissy about athlete salaries, but the market is what it is.

Athletes are more expensive cogs than your average factory worker, but they still want their share of the money they bring in.

Do you wanna get paid what you're worth?

    So do athletes.

*Note: A professional athlete is not as easily replaceable as you are. Hence, they deal with bigger money.

I am getting really tired of these "money" threads. Its getting as stale as the VY thread.

My biggest concern with CJ right now is his attitude. You got shut down for 24 yards, consistently talking about career years, and you make light of a week 1 loss, against a big division rival.

What does him "dominating" have to do with him being scared as soon as things got a bit physical?

    Sorry. THERE WAS NO INJURY.

Like it or not, that's the fact. He had no injury. None. Nothing.

He may have tore something in his vag, but that's about it. Ed Reed and a few others scared him out of the game. Simple as that.

You ever take yourself out of a game to stand on the sidelines in the playoffs- you'd better have some x-rays or MRI after to show us something was wrong outside of you being shook like maracas.

You guys take up for him all you want. Guy's a coward.

Bradshaw had a terrible game Sunday and still almost doubled CJ's yards.

And Michigan had an instant classic Saturday night while taking the best uniforms in the league and somehow making them even better. Who needs an NC game?

    Shoot son... I'm always right.

    He got market value.

Our front office are ultra shady. If he'd turned up as requested he would have got notihng.

With so many unknowns around ur new staff and team it was a wise move. Very good chance that we suck and he'd lose value through no fault of his own.

I'm not sure his attitude is any different that anyone else. Someone who is more "media" savy crafts their statement as, "I'm disappointed in our loss and my performance, but it is a long season and we are going to work towards next week."

Then he got an MRI on his "nothing" injury.

Are you saying he did it, along with skip the Pro Bowl, for show? Right.
