I don't think this is the Chuck Cecil 2.0.

In fact, I was pretty happy with the way the D played most of the game. THey made the correct adjustments after the first drive, and gave the offense the ball back plenty of times.

And this is with half the d-line out.

This is a staff and team that's been together like 5 weeks. I'm willing to wait and see before I jump off a cliff.

I really wasn't impressed with Palmer's playcalling, CJ's no show, and Hasslebeck ran hot and cold.

I agree with everyone who has stated that it's a new offense, new coordinator, new quarterback and on top of all that our two best offensive players just started practicing this week. Hasselbeck even said it will take time for them to learn the playbook and get on the same page and hopefully they can win while they're learning.

On thing that really upsets me is the fact that the Johnson holdout hurt the offense so badly. I blame both CJ and the front office. CJ could have came in and said that he would not play game 1 if his contract was not done. The front office could have been more ready to get a deal done when the lockout ended. Both stupid selfish moves

You think throwing Jake Locker in there today would have been a good idea? The dude needs time to learn to play NFL. It's not like he's just napping on Sundays and playing XBox when the team practices...every week he's learning new things and practicing with the team. That's what helps QBs succeed. Throwing them out there to get pummeled doesn't help anything.

Look at Aaron Rodgers. He sat behind an old veteran and waited his turn. No one seems to be complaining about those results. Matt Hasselbeck is here to show Locker the ropes, and that is exactly what we need. I'll be upset if Locker plays any this year barring an injury or just an absolute show of dominance from Jake during practice.

Jesse will be all over Hasselbeck's nuts when he has a great performance and / or wins one for us on a last minute drive, which should have happened today.

    Interesting perspective.

The way I see it, the Colts have had arguable the best offense for the past decade. If they had even a 'good' defense, not great, then they'd have several rings to show for it. Best QB in the league, HOF receiver at one point, another potential HOF receiver, great TE, slew of RBs who do more then just get the job done. Unfortunately, they can't outscore good teams in the playoffs because their defense isn't that enough.

Steelers have won two super bowls in the last ten years and was in the super bowl just last year.....pretty sure those fans aren't too worried.

My problem with this staff is that we STILL have the same issues and some of them have gotten worse.

Seahawks let Hasselbeck walk for a reason.
