Funny how racism wasn't mentioned until the public outrage occured. I don't buy it.

I don't doubt that he has received some racist comments. I just think that's a rather convenient excuse for his outburst. His initial tweet clearly referred to people comparing 'their job to his' and not caring whether or not they think he's greedy.

 

Look like you kids took my advice and started listening to Wyatt and not espn. If wyatt says there is progrees then their really is.

 

look here is the way i see him. he is a typical player that is better than us, in their on aspect. But think about it from a front office aspect. the man has 3 years in his belt. Ok good, First year he rushed for 1200 yards, second year breakout stellar year has 2k. Ok thats awesome but third year only 1300. with a 4.3 per yard avg. so could it be that his 2k year was not a fluke but a good "team" year with help coming from his oline??? and he isnt as special as he thinks he is. dont get me wrong the man is good, really good but is he worthy of top player pay?? really?i mean why. let's say they do give him 13 million a year and he has another 1300 yard year. is that worth the money when we can give ringer or stafon or harper and get 1300 yards a year?

 

Wyatt also tweeted that you are weighing his nuts down.

 

His tweet sounds to me like he is specifically calling out people who have made ignorant comments calling him greedy. If we were in his position, which we're not, who's to say that we wouldn't handle the situation the exact same way?

CJ not showing up to "work" is not the same as all of us who have ordinary 9-5 jobs. CJ is looking out for #1 and I don't blame him one bit. Greedy he might be but who's to say you wouldn't hold out too. And for people who seriously use the argument "he's under contract, he needs to honor his end of the bargain and show up to work" are just not getting it.
