Not really, put deangelo on the Titans and he would probably put up nearly the same stats as CJ...For 9 mill less.

 

actually CJ will be about $20m cheaper than Williams, at least for the next 2 years. And about $15m cheaper in the third. Just sayin'

CJ has zero leverage. None. He can rot

 

It's really not much of a stretch to think that D Will could put up very similar numbers to CJ given the same situation. Last time he played a full season he rushed for 1515 yards and 18 TDs on just 273 carries.

 

Reinfeldt should've been wheeling and dealing long before this and we probably would've been in a much better position.Playing the waiting game turned out to be a really bad decision on Reinfeldt's part because of things like Deangelo and of course Fitz's deal.We should've just paid CJ before the beginning of last season.

All he say she say though. Will never know. We know that CJ deserves a substantial amount of money more than D'Angelo (at least 5-10 more in guarantees)

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for CJ to sign for what D'Angelo did. Heck, I want anything that'll get this thing done.

But you gotta be realistic

 

im gonna go with duece from another thread and say that cj hasnt been as great as everyone is making him out to be....d-will would of put up numbers like cj did or any other good runningback if they got the ball as many times as cj did when he broke the record...so i dont agree that he should get a substantial amount more than d-will....

 

He averaged close to 30 yards per game more than the next best that year.
