    1) He hasn't made a trade demand yet.

    2) Even if he does, it's a fairly normal part of contract negotiations like this.

Neither 1 nor 2 means that he is actually going to get traded. Don't jump to conclusions.

The Titans front office is truly too dumb to live. Thanks to their dithering for so long the best case scenario now is that Johnson is signed for 50% more that it would have cost a year ago, and he misses all the preseason and maybe some real games. At worst he has to be traded under unfavorable circumstances because the other teams all know they have to move him, reducing their leverage.

Really? I don't recall seeing many trade requests by a player who ends up signing a long term deal with the team he demanded to be traded from?

Not saying you're wrong, I just don't recall that being an often thing.

    Great clip.

I would answer "Yes" if that man wants to make another 30 million or so in 4 years. Or for fame and status.

Titans need offer Cj 10 to 11 period.

If we don't its gonna hurt us in the future with free agents rookies ect...

If CJ turn down 11m so be it.

You did nothing to make me think that Ringer is any better than he is.

He doesn't break tackles, his initial step is slow, he has no burst coming through the hole, and he has little to no moves.

Players ask to be traded (let's keep in mind that CJ hasn't made a trade demand yet) and end up back with their original team fairly regularly. Vincent Jackson asked to be traded last season. He's still a Charger. Steve Smith asked the Panthers to trade him but now seems happy to be a Panther. Osi Umenyora asked for a trade earlier this offseason. Nope. Frank Gore's camp hinted at a trade, the same way CJ's team is hinting at it now. No trade.

Demanding to be traded (which, again, CJ has not done) doesn't mean you will be traded.
