Kerry Collins, Alternate for a Pro Bowl. Alternate doesn't count.

I agree...especially nowadays when the SB players are automatically exempted, and then alot of the other top line players are "injured" and cannot play. How many QBs did the AFC go through in 2006 to get to VY??? I seem to remember at least 3. Same thing happened in 2005 for McNair (he did not deserve it that year either).

 

Valid point, but was Gregg Williams the only qualified available DC? When Williams left for Buffalo, Fisher hired Schwartz and let Jerry Gray leave with Williams.

I recall Blaine Bishop being upset that Jerry Gray did not get the job. When the deal with Williams fell through, did Fisher try to hire Gray? No.

In fact, over the years, why didn't Fisher ever try to hire one of the Ryan boys?

Jimbelina was not a good DC, his Ds constantly underperformed their talent. That is not a good DC. I wanted JS gone the day he was hired, but I always said I thought he would make a good HC. His moneyball crap just does not translate into DC.

What was so talented about this team in 09? Britt was a rookie and we didn't have Babin. Are Kerry Collins and Vince Young elite Qbs? Young is on the bench in Philly and Collins is retired. Try again.


We were 13-3 with the worst starting Wrs in the league and kerry collins as our starting QB. Terrible coaching?

 

We were not the best team in the league for 4 years but you could argue we had the 2nd best team in the league in 99, 2000, 2003. A top 4 team in 02 and 08.

It is frustrating when teams you beat in the regular season go to the super bowl or win it. We beat the 99 rams in the regular season and we beat the 03 Panthers fairly easy and they went that year. We killed the Steelers in 08 and they won it all.

Like i said Fisher was an average coach and Reese was an average GM. So the results we got over 13 years was average.
