Seriously the Titans do a terrible job creating a game day atmosphere. Games at LP are usually pretty tame. Boring.

Everything is overpriced, the food sucks and we need a bigger replay screen in the endzones.

Get some better beers on tap at least. Add more alcohol = way more fun.

This franchise needs upgrades all around.

They do have some craft beers on tap, Fat Tire, Guiness, Smithwicks, Mich Shock Top...those are at the two main entrances and endzones, most concessions and aisle vendors just have your Bud and Miller...

Nobody can say they are satisfied with the way things are at LP.

Maybe slowing ticket sales will be a kick in the pants to this franchise.

You have got to evolve and change. Come up with new ways to keep fans interested.

I personally blame the NFL for not embracing the fans.
Come on, fan conduct codes? Get bent.
LP needs an assigned supporters section like at soccer games or the student sections at most college stadiums.
I wish the Titans organization would empower and acknowledge the fans the way they do in Seattle. I hear Seattle has a fantastic pregame atmosphere.

We know football down here in SEC country. There is no reason why the best crowds in the league shouldn't be in Nashville.

I spent every home game sitting in the student's section at Neyland for the better part of... six years ;)
I get pissed when I see empty seats and quiet people at LP. If you want to sit down and be quiet, stay home.

I used to think like this but I don't care anymore. As long as you aren't complaining when other people stand want to get loud. But if you want to pay your money and sit and look at my butt and be quiet, that's fine by me.

I love the Titans as much as ever, but have no plans to regularly attend the games again.

I would buy a PSL if I lived in Nashville and had the money. But I live in San Antonio, unfortunately. The Titans are my team and I want to support them. So I do that by buying t-shirts, hats, jerseys, and tickets to a game every year (albeit from StubHub or Craigslist).

However, I also go to the games in Houston. And Houston's Reliant Stadium is LIGHTYEARS ahead of LP Field, and it pains me to say it. Houston's game-day atmosphere is unbelievable. The fans are rowdy and passionate, the stadium is marvelous, and the game-day staff makes you feel very welcome and they are accommodating. Houston's tailgating atmosphere is awesome as well.

However, I love some things about LP Field as well. The view by the river is amazing! The fact that it's a short walk from downtown and all the bars is also a plus. I like that it's outdoors, but it's difficult to create a bells-and-whistles arena for an outdoor venue as compared to those like Arizona, Houston, and Dallas. I agree that some renovations would be nice. I'm just glad they took those old faded player banners down to (hopefully) replace them with some new faces.

Munchak and crew made a lot of renovations at the practice facility. Hopefully Titans brass will use the new coaching era as an excuse to make some changes at the field. I don't want to be second to Houston in ANYTHING.

I agree with everything except what I put in bold. I have been to a few different stadiums, and LP is above average from what I see. Of course there are newer stadiums that are better, but LP is much better than mediocre.

I do not live in TN, but do you really want to look at a new stadium there? In ten to fifteen years maybe, but now?

Now the gameday experience there, compared to other locations...that I can agree with.

I've been to many, many Colts games, a home game in Cleveland, and LP Field, and I can say, there is not a friendlier, laid back atmosphere to watch football in. I'm fine without the crappy cover bands butchering Jungle Boogie before the game. I think the people make the atmosphere, and Titans fans are good people, if not a bit flighty.

Colts fans at Lucas Oil are stuffy and entitled a lot of the time, but there are lots of exceptions. They've lived the high life for the last 10+ years, and I'm ready to see that tumble. They don't particularly treat opposing fans well, and Cleveland is just brutal. I went to a Steelers/Browns game there. It is harsh.

I've never seen a Titans fan rag on another fan more than mutual fun-having. I guess we're just still humble because we haven't won anything.

They've already copied Seattle's 12th Man flag raising ceremony, though even that pails to the original. In Seattle, it takes place at the top of stadium in the end zone, the Blue Thunder drum line is right there... it's pretty awesome. Obviously LP Field isn't set up like that, and doing in the end zone plaza with a relatively dinky little flag just doesn't measure up.

If you weren't around in Nashville in the mid-90s, you probably don't remember what a struggle is was getting the stadium passed by the voters in the first place. We got a fairly bare bones stadium because there is no way the voters would have approved an expensive, state of the art stadium. Obviously it was better than the Astrodome, and most importantly to Bud Adams, it had the club seats and luxury suites built in. But other than that it's pretty average. Obviously we aren't going to get a new stadium any time soon, but it'd be nice if the organization spent some time, effort and a little bit of money improving the game day experience.
