i know I'm not helping the cause by any means, but I always buy scalped tickets for under face value. I will never go to Ticketmaster and buy face value tickets or buy overpriced PSLs. No offense to the ones who have them.

Even when the Titans were 6-0 I got Texans Titans tickets for 20 dollars. Hopefully these slow sales don't make whoever the next owner will be want to move out of town.

That's what happens when you charge $9 a beer, and don't show much interest in improving. I hope the tickets get sold, otherwise those ignorant Jaguar fans might try selling us some tarps.

If you're going to the games, then you are helping the cause. Period.

But until this year, I was buying tickets on craigslist or ebay, and usually for face value or less (which means less than single game tix cost through ticketmaster). The last few years it hasn't been a problem getting tix on the secondary market.

That said, my wife and I bought PSLs and season tickets this year, but pretty much only because we found the best value in the stadium. I've always thought that if you're sitting in the upper deck, it really doesn't matter whether you're mid field or in the end zone, because you've got good perspective regardless. I don't think that $70 upper level tix on the 50 were much better than the $45 tix in the corner. So we were able to find front row seats in the corner where the PSLs were only $300 each, so we bought them.
And I gotta say, not only is it nice I wont have to be on the computer on Saturdays looking for tix and meeting someone to buy them, but we also definitely feel differently being season ticket holders than we did going to every game but sitting in different seats all the time.

That said, if we had to pay $1000 for our PSLs, that feeling probably wouldnt be worth it.

it's about time the fans wised up, the organization doesn't deserve immediate sell outs for the way they handle things. Settling for mediocrity year after year is somehow tolerated.. hopefully this is changing.

fans only got wise cause they were working on monday.

    They will sell out

But I wish they had too sweat it. I would really like the preseason and homeopener to be dark. Titans would actually loose some money in ad rates.

Its crazy but Titans games, regular and PO, own the top whatever viewership in Middle TN. BA can't show the games on TV it will actually affect his ad rates. I really don't think they care, but who knows. They clearly could not care less about making the games enjoyable to the season ticket holders.

I hope this is a wake-up call for the Titans and the NFL in general. LP Field is a mediocre venue, the game day experience is sub-par, food choices are weak and overpriced as is beer. Add a team that collapsed last season and a bitter lockout and I think this is to be expected.

Fans can go out and buy a kicking big screen for what it costs to buy a couple of decent PSLs and season tickets.

    This.

Having seen games in other stadiums (Cincinnati, Atlanta, St Louis, Jacksonville, New York, Indianapolis and Seattle), both their stadiums and the experience is better pretty much everywhere else I've been. Other teams do a lot better job of creating a festival like atmosphere surrounding the games, and the Titans basically come off as cheap. They've tried a couple of things (having bands play in the sound endzone area, having TSU's band perform at games), but all of those things get abandoned after a season or two. Basically unless you tailgate in Nashville, there is no pregame experience.

As for food and beer, it's overpriced everywhere, I don't think we are any worse off than anywhere else. Though I will say that other stadiums have better selections.
