Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt says he has no plans to negotiate a new deal with RCB Cortland Finnegan utnil he returns to camp.
It's the same hard-line stance the Titans have taken with Chris Johnson. Although Reinfeldt says he was "shocked" Finnegan went AWOL on Friday evening, he does admit the two sides had been negotiating a new deal in recent days to no avail. This seems like a situation with the potential to get very ugly.

Frank Gore is no longer holding out. His agent suggested that he hold out, but he decided he wanted to be at TC and work with the team.

Falcons did for an unproven rookie WR.

And they'll win a Super Bowl because of it.

Cortland Finnegan is a nice player but he is not elite at all. I cannot believe this! I think Verner maybe better than him now!

Maybe the coaches DID respond positively, but he didn't like what they offered him. His 'positive' and their 'positive' may be two different animals. I would think this is the case. They offered him a little bit more, he wanted a whole lot more, they said no, he said 'see ya'. He doesn't realize that he is expendable but he will soon find he is.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there (not trying to do a douche Lumberg from Office Space impression - just sayin').

I've been one to say that I could see Steve or Eddie making the HoF somewhere way down the road (even though I know it's unlikely). However, I think Derrick Mason warrants a HoF entry more than both Steve and Eddie. He has been so consistent over the years and he's ranked near top 10 (if not higher) in a few WR statistical categories. He may very well reach 1000 receptions this year which would put him in a very special group of elite receivers.

    Jerry Rice
    Marvin Harrison
    Cris Carter
    Tim Brown
    Isaac Bruce
    Terrell Owens
    Tony Gonzalez

Those are the only guys to ever reach 1000 receptions. Think of all the great HoF receivers who aren't on that list. I'd say DMase has a very good chance to make it in... In fact, I'm almost positive he'll make it at some point down the road.

He had a meh kind of year last year and was a 7th round pick now he's upset and holding out because he's gonna be getting paid nearly 3.8mil this year? WTF
