I guess teams always want to have 3 tight ends. Cook, Stevens, Graham... Pretty solid TE depth. Otherwise, I'm not a big fan of this signing.

 

Do yall think that Stevens could move in to the FB/Hback role in our offence? Hes a good blocker and has pretty good hands

 

He would always get in CJ's way with his slowness.

 

Solid pick-up IMO. Vet blocking TE. Should fight stevens for that #2 spot.

Cool signing. He'll be good in the red zone and is a good blocker. I'd like to see him and Stevens in 2 TE sets on running plays and Cook on the field on passing plays. I hope all 3 TE's are used pretty regularly.

At least we're going out and signing guys.

I think will make ONE more signing (a DE or S) and be done with FA.

And then onto CJ's contract.

I like the two ends of the spectrum among the reactions. One side says, "Man, this guy sucks! What a horrible signing!" The other side says, "Oh no! Now Jared Cook won't play!"
