    QB - Matt Hasselbeck
    OG - Harvey Dahl
    LB - Rocky McIntosh
    SS - Tom Zbikowski

Cut VY, Chris Hope, Gage and save $22.25 mil. That $ is used for signing the above players, and re-signing current players. I see Babin leaving the Titans, and probably Tulloch as well.

Trade a mid round pick for Big Albert Haynesworth.
Re-sign Randy (for cheapish), Hall, and Ball.

    QB - Hasselbeck, Locker, Smith
    RB - CJ2K, Harper, Ringer
    FB - Hall
    LT - Roos, Otto
    LG - Dahl, Velasco
    C - Amano, Matthews, Velasco
    RG - Scott, Velasco
    RT - Stewart, Otto
WR - Britt, Moss, DWill, Washington, Mariani
    TE - Cook, Stevens

    DE - JJ, Ball, Klug
    DT - Haynesworth, Haye
    DT - Brown, Casey, Marks
    DE - Morgan, Hayes, Klug
    OLB - Witherspoon, Ayers, Curran
    ILB - McIntosh, McCarthy
    OLB - McRath, Ayers, Curran
CB - Finnegan, Verner, McCourty, Mouton
    FS - Griffin, Fuller, Johnson
    SS - Zbikowski, Rolle

I'd be happy with that :)

McDaniel would be a GREAT pickup for us. He was at one time projected to be a 2nd rounder but had a domestic issue with his girlfriend that dropped him out of the draft all together. I'd definitely take a chance on him.

Another guy I like is Marcus Spears, although I don't see the Cowboys letting him go. 6'4 311, plays 34 DE, would switch to 43 DT for us. Would allow JJ to play DE, and Spears at DT.

There's also a lot of solid LBs FAs I would like to sign: Greenway, Harris, Posluszny, McIntosh, Davis, Ruud, Spikes, Nicolas, Dhani Jones, DQwell Jackson, Morrison, Henderson, Thomas Howard, Kamerion Wimbley, Ernie Sims, Omar Gaither, Burnett, Cooper, Lawson, LeRoy Hill, and Quincy Black. If Tulloch leaves (which is likely) we'll be able to pickup another vet LB. We have some youth, but bringing in another LB will make a heck of a competition in training camp. Witherspoon, McRath, FA LB, Curran, Ayers, McCarthy would have to battle for a starting job, we'd also have a nice LB rotation for different sets on D.

I'd also like to see us pickup a better #4 CB than Mouton. I know Fuller use to play alot of Nickle in the old D, I don't see him doing that much anymore. It should be Finnegan-ATV-McCourty on the field, but after those 3 our next CB is Mouton (and he has been average at best so far). I think we need to pickup a speedier CB, none of our CBs have elite speed. This will help on special teams, and guarding the faster WRs. Phillip Buchanon would be nice.

Just thought of another name! I really like this one... Melvin Bullitt.

Melvin is only 26, and has been a career backup for injury prone Bob Sanders (now a member of the Chargers). However, if 08 and 09 Melvin played 29 Games and had 149 tackles & 4 INTs. So he is a VERY servicable starter. Colts have to re-sign Peyton Manning, give Reggie Wayne a new deal, and also have to resign Joseph Addai, Dominic Rhodes, Adam Vinatieri, Antonio Johnson, Daniel Muir, Tyjuan Hagler, and Clinton Sessions. Under the new CBA the Colts do NOT have a lot of money to spend, so they'll be cutting it close. Melvin said on an Indianapolis radio station that the chances of resigning with the Colts are "50-50" and "He couldn't see himself being back in Indianapolis without a long-term deal".

Not only could Bullitt replace Hope, it would allow us to cut Hope and his $6 mil contract. It would also leave a glaring hole for the Colts and their SS position.

Or with 1 Bullitt :brow: :ha:

Been hearing rumors that the Cards may give up Rodgers-Cromartie for Kolb. I've always been a big fan of his- great size and speed for a cover corner. Plus he's young so he's got some good years left in him. I'd love to get him somehow, maybe offering VY and Finnegan for DRC and another player/draft pick? I just hate to release a player like VY and get nothing in return. Regardless, looks like the Cards are getting desperate for a QB...

I like your idea of a trade with the cards because Finny is in the last year of his contract and in my opinion on his way down (how many tackles did he miss last year?). Even if they went and got Kolb, VY would be a serviceable backup. I doubt it happens though I don't think our front office is that creative, nor do I think the Cards would go for it.
