    What prospect would be so dumb as to hire an agent that was suspended by the nfl players association for 2 years? Jake Locker!

    Doesn't hurt. High character guys are great. He might be the face of the franchise for the next ten years or more. It will feel like a breath of fresh air after Pac, VY, Haynesworth, Britt... now unfortunately.

    NFL teams interview and do background checks on players before the draft every year. Personality seems important to those guys. You know... the NFL teams.

    NFL QB is a job for type A personalities. Not somebody who apologizes for being successful. We have posters here who want to think that Locker is like them but if he was he probably wouldn't have been drafted in rd 1.

    Of course Locker the ulta character guy had no problems getting a lime ball for an agent. Go figure.

    What they are talking about has nothing to do with character and there were a lot of QBs in this draft who were high character guys.

    Stop trying to paint Jake in a negative light. ALL agents are liars, and screw around. ALL OF THEM! I promise you that.

    Who said anything about apologizing for his success?
    That is not the definition of humility. He appears to be a man of excellent character. I hope it spreads to the community and the locker room. Locker seems to have his priorities in order and I happen to think that is a good thing.
    If Locker fails in the NFL I don't think anyone will be able to say he didn't give it his all.

    I don't think the sun shines out of his rear end but I like what I have seen out of him so far. Time will tell and we will see what happens on the field but for now he is doing okay in my opinion.
