If someone is doing something completely wrong mechanically then coaching can help some by putting them in a better position to make accurate throws, but it will not make any throw more accurate. It will put someone with descent accuracy in a better position to make an accurate throw. At a certain point it is out of the coach's hand how accurate the player will be, there is a talent involved with throwing accurately. If someone could coach a RB like Ronnie Brown to throw like a Peyton Manning why don't they?

Some got the gift of great speed like CJ, some get the gift of great throwing accuracy. Coaching can help maximize the talent a player has, not create talent where there is none.

FYI, I never mentioned anything about Locker's inaccuracy. Just stating good coaching doesn't mean you're going to be an accurate QB.

I think you're splitting hairs now but putting someone in a better position to make an accurate throw to me is increasing accuracy.

I agree that accuracy is a talent but by the time a QB is playing big time college football they've long been separated from the QBs that can't hit what they're aiming at.

    I agree.

My mistake then, I thought you were referencing Locker w/ 55% comp.
Right, but we were talking about wether coaching/reps increase accuracy and I think we agree that it can/does.

We wont bring anyone in because Chris Palmer is going to be his mentor. He is all over Jake Locker and isn't going to bring in anyone other then Kerry to back him up.

i wouldn't mind Volek coming back.think he would do it if they were to look into it? just wondering if he would have any rejections about it due to what went down when he left.

The last game Billy Volek started he had a come back win vs the Colts. :) He would be ideal while Locker gears up.
