Where is VY? (all things Vince Young goes here)

Yes, we're on the same page.

It could happen. The world could end in 5 minutes. It probably won't. But it could. I agree. Even though Bud also said he is done with VY, yes. Right. Good.

But CJTheBeast seems to think there is a resounding chance Vince will be back next season. And anyone who says otherwise is 'psychic or stupid'.

With the god awful options for us at quarterback VY is the difference between being in playoff contention and going 2-14, and 2-14 is very likely with the current qb's on staff (Rusty).

 

Yep. And I as much as I want to like Newton, Gabbert, Locker, Mallett, Kaepernick and Dalton, I just can't believe that any of them would have this team in contention any time soon. Especially with our defense as pathetic as it has been.

 

I have watched alot of tape on every QB going to be on this draft and it is kind of sickening how far VY is ahead of them right now at this point in his career. If you actually watch and do an analysis of VY's game from last year he was very impressive. Here is a complication of VY's passes from last season. Watch the footwork, the pocket presence, the pass accuracy, and the field vision. It is very impressive how far he has brought his game the past two seasons.

Some people can't separate his current level of play, from the play earlier in his career. Others can't separate his play from the off the field issues surrounding him.

Vince Young could be an elite QB if he keeps progressing. You never know what your gonna get out of the draft no matter how good the prospect is perceived to be.

Our best chance at winning next year is with Vince Young at QB.

 

CJtheBeast... you've been arguing about this for 141 pages. And that's not counting the other thread that got destroyed. Either you ARE Vince Young, or you're the biggest VY fanboy in the world. Either way, it's laughable and not healthy. The dude was having a good season, sure, but his coming back doesn't guarantee anything. He's still only slightly above average or good at best. Give it a rest dude.

 

So 5 years into being a Vet, VY is better than all the incoming rookies. Well, I would sure as hell hope so.

Next you are gonna tell me compared to the handicap kid in the wheelchair, Vince runs much faster.
