they should let fans vote what order teams would go in the draft. plus youd get to see who the most hardcore fans are.

i figured either lottery or just same order (or some sort of....basis of the same order with tweeks due to recent history, events, and/or successes of teams)

Antitrust laws??? Monopolies, right??? Can someone clear this up for me??? I'm confused! I already read everything that has been posted and written that I can find concerning this situation, but, I still have a few questions.

Okay, players file a lawsuit, in an effort to prevent the owners from lockout; correct?, but the lockout occurred anyway and now everyone waits until the court rules, hopefully, in favor of the players and "forces" the owners to open the doors; right? and.....the demands of the lawsuit may require the owners to unlock their financial records (last 10 years -> why so far back, wouldn't 5 be plenty to establish a baseline)also; all to what extent??? If the union is defunct, to what end would providing that information resolve. When and if the courts rule in favor with the players and the owners produce the required documents, what happens then? What happens if the court rules in favor of the NFL? I'm very confused!!!
    And....
Does all this posturing by both sides, trying to sway public opinion, really necessary, I mean, will Judge Doty or whoever is presiding want to hear the fan's point of view? I understand both sides wanting to pass the blame off, but from my point of view, both are equally to blame.
    Can anyone clear this up?

oh good. because a draft where the top 10 were made up of teams like the steelers, packers, cowboys, patriots, eagles, bears....would totally be great...

...both sides are going to present it as "we did nothing wrong; they're the bad guys you should hate here"

    Banks may put it best:
