I don't get what he just claimed. that it takes 1 second to react as a CB?Wouldn't that mean a corner playing bump and run would

1-not have any time to react to even touch the corner because:

2-he would already be burnt by approximately 9 yards at the line (a proportion of x yards to 40 yards, 1 second to 4.3 seconds)

He himself just claimed the process of reading and reacting (essentially) takes 1 second.

you better stick to RF because you definitely suck at football! (surprising thing is that football is infinitely much easier to grasp than engineering)

but then again, you are the one who went crying to the mods when I broke down your posts to prove that there is no way u are in engineering school..(unless homer simpson is dean of that institution)

    Lol!

He did just that as I did. However, you choose to ignore reasoned arguments and just insult people. You also like to argue in circles to avoid being 'proved' wrong. I put that in quotes because anyone reading already knows you've been proved wrong, you're just trying to deflect - much as some politicians do when they know they are wrong and there is no way to argue their point successfully.

    Welcome back!

    Roflmao!

'Dissing?' Speaking facts is not dissing. If Verner got beat on a play and even VERNER says he did, that's all there is to it. You can say whatever you like, but you were disproved in your little...he played the slant perfectly, no slant can be defended if it's run properly - blah blah blah.

As far as Verner developing, it is what we all predicted.

In light of your comment that this football thing comes easily to you, perhaps you can now respond to your claims...

    Let's review...you said...
A perfectly thrown slant can't be defended. WRONG!
Verner had great coverage. WRONG! (Even VERNER said so!)
You can only make a play on the backside of a slant. WRONG!
You have to sell out or know what's coming to be able to defend it. WRONG!

If you have nothing important to say, don't bother responding to this post. The facts are the facts and your claims are on the wrong side.

And btw, you might want to ask yourself how any cb can cover a wr at all if you think a cb needs to run a 3.30 40 to stay with a WR on a slant or to 'beat him' to the point. I think you will find that this 'suggestion' about how fast a CB would need to be (in your theory) is ridiculous and that slants are 'covered' all the time by cb's who aren't even as fast as the WR. I'll leave you to figure out the math or, more importantly, try to figure out WHY your math is so wrong.
