I just think Palmer doesn't want to die behind Cincy's o-line. That and its been a long and unsatisfying run there in Cincy.

He's an excellent 2 year option while we groom a draft pick this year or next, if he's ridiculously successful we can always re-sign and trade the draft pick.

To CJthebeast,4realz,geronimo,mr.biggums, the 2011 VY posse: I'd much rather a young QB learn from Palmer than Vince Young.

    From the VY thread.

So we're pretty much on the same page with Palmer. His knee is a ticking bomb, but he's the next best scenario, 2 good years of service while our rookie gets ready to take over the reins.

Better option than VY as far as mentoring a rookie draft pick.

I agree he's a better mentor about being a professional, but to be blunt, I want to win games.

Palmer is not a winner. Vince Young is.

just to note the Bengals don't have a GM. Their owne Mike Brown covers all responsibilities of owner, general manager, and team president.

I think the Bengal ownership is ready to pull a Barry Sanders on Palmer. Just retire then is the statement being made at this point. If he retires under contract then he doesn't come back.

Man I don't want Charlie Sheen but if you are talking about Sheen of Jimmy Neutron fame well then that's acceptable.

Vince wants to come back. If any of you fans would like to see Vince Young back, now is the time to rally.

If Palmer becomes unavailable (or your favorite QB option) then please make it be known that not every fan wants Vince gone.
