also the report I'm seeing suggests the union would be fine with the extension, but nothing's been heard from the owners about it

 

Yeah im hearing the same about the players just waiting to hear back from the owners, anyone have any idea just how much progress is being made?

 

this stuff (especially at this level) is always all done behind very closed doors, no one really receives any information outside of what they choose to let the media know


....we'll find out about extensions, if they reach an agreement, or if they decide about walking away again....but that's really about it. Plus alot of these things are potential stipulations in contracts that haven't been signed yet...that's not information any businesses like the public to find out while still in the negotiation/ drawing up the contract stages

 

Dang, i just hate being left out in the dark while they do all this. For the sake of my sanity, i really hope they can find a deal soon

 

This whole thing is pathetic. Everyone knew about the CBA expiration three years ago. It shouldn't even be an issue right now.

These extentions are silly.

 

Well it appears we have another week of discussion.
I really wish the NFL would get their heads out of their butts and settle this.
it's getting real old real fast.

 

seriously. they knew it would steam roll into this back when they chose not to renew the salary cap (that specific one was alot more on the owners, really)...that topic was on their table for two offseasons and then just preventing the lockout alone for another.

And each time they did nothing to prevent this
