I can't say I am exited about this hire, but we'll see how it goes.

Well, most positive I can pull from this is as a positions coach he was mostly in charge of Wide Receivers and Quarterbacks.

Have to hope Munch saw something in him that no one else has noticed.

None of these hires have been "sexy" hires. But I think they are putting together a very good staff.

I do find it positive that both Parcells and Coughlin hired him on two different staffs. Parcells with the Patriots and Cowboys and Coughlin with the Jags and Giants. They evidently saw something in him as well.

Looked in to Palmer a bit. Don't like what I see.

He was fired only 2 games in to the 2005 NFL season. He was the OC for the Texans at the time. That was his last NFL experience as an OC. He worked as a QB coach for a bit.

He had Tim Couch and David Carr as his quarterbacks when he was head coach and later OC. Both #1 picks. Both of them were badly screwed up by coaching. Doesn't necessarily bode well if the Titans draft a QB.

He used to get criticized for not adjusting his offense and not getting in the play calls in time (forcing his quarterbacks to take a lot of timeouts and delay of game penalties).

His UFL team finished 4th (out of 5 teams).

He retired from football last year.

    Yikes, man.
