Something he inherited from Dennis Green.

Also, the guy has never called offensive plays for an offense.

This is one I am just not seeing....

That doesn't really bother me as much. Guys have to go from not calling plays to calling plays at some point in their careers if they want to advance. I just thought he was a joke as a head coach and the whole "Randy Ratio" thing he tried to come up with his first year there was stupid.

I'm not a fan of Tice as an OC. Just don't see anything in his background to explain why this would be a good fit.

Understand, but coming into a system where we have already said that, in order to be successful, Munchak will want to give his coordinators more rope, it is not a good place to "break in" someone on calling plays.

This just does not add up for me...not seeing it at all.

Looking at his resume as a whole does not inspire confidence. I also remember he got in trouble and was heavily fined for scalping tickets (I believe SuperBowl). Do not want that kind of element around any more. I believe in second chances, but for a grown man to do that as a HC is not the type of person whose judgment I am willing to trust.

Like I said earlier...how is this guy BETTER than Heimerdinger? I mean, isn't that what bringing in new coaches is all about? Replacing the old with a better aspect?

I don't think we can rank the new OC (whoever it is) on if he is better than Dinger etc.. Dinger is gone because Munch wants fresh ideas on offense, and I agree with it. Our offense needs revitalising and we need to utilise the passing game much more efficiently and if Munch thinks Tice is the guy to do it, then i'm behind him. I would not really want Tice, but if Tice is the guy i'm not going to complain when we haven't even seen him call a play for us yet. I think Munch is looking for some of the west coast offense to be used and he obviously didn't think Dinger was the guy to do it, its not about who's better than who, its about who can fit in.
