Gray is probably as close as we can get to having Greg Williams as our DC. His defense will be very similar.

I completely forgot his time with Dick LeBeau too.

Gray looks to me like a move that Munchak put a lot of thought into.

I can't wait to see who is brought in as OC.

Tamba Hali has always been one of my favorite players and I just knew he was gonna blow up last season, and I always wanted to make a move for him in the past...but I guess we can add him to the list of untouchables now. *sigh* One can still dream...

Do you think a LaRon Landry is attainable without cleaning house by any means? (Including a draft pick)

Shoot, if all fails, I'll take his brother as a consolation prize.

Munch brought in a guy with a lot of experience at DC. I expect the same for OC.

Even though I think it's pretty impossible for Landry to end up here, he's a guy you have alter your scheme for. He's been pretty shaky in coverage throughout his career and we play a lot of cover-two and cover-three.

This is very good news....of note to me is 1. His ties to Greg Williams, and, more importantly, 2. The fact that he was our DB coach in 1999-2000, which is really the last time I remember our DB squad REALLY being something to be reckoned with.

I am real excited about this, and look forward to the other moves that Munchak makes.

At some point I would think that the mainstream press (NFL Network, ESPN, etc...) will stop whining and moaning about losing Fisher, and actually take notice of the solid foundation that is quietly being built here (from the coaching side anyway).

Very impressive first 7 days for Mr. Munchak IMO....keep it up.

Well what we played now is besides the point cause we don't know what exactly Gray will do with the defense besides keep the 4-3 intact.

Looking back on last season it seemed that during the losing stretch The Titans D was committing the same stupid drive-extending penalties over and over and over. It was maddening. Fixing this alone would be a dramatic improvement.
