QB Matt Flynn would be perfect for us.

The throw at 5:40 concerns me. It looks like he lofts quite a few throws in this game. I don't know if he lacks the arm to put it on a line or if he just prefers touch throws, but that throw to beat the cover two should have been zipped in, not lofted.

I don't think Flynn is the guy unless he came cheap because Reinfeldt said they were looking for a vet QB. Bringing in a guy with limited experience and then drafting a rookie to go with Rusty just doesn't make a lot of sense, IMO.

When I hear "vet", I think Bulger, McNabb, etc. I would not be shocked they gave Collins a one-year deal.

Giving up a high draft pick to trade for Flynn would mean the Titans would be committing to him for the next few seasons and not looking to the draft anytime soon.

Bring Flynn in and let him compete in training camp against a vet and a rookie. I bet Flynn comes out on top.

Just based on that video, he seems to make pretty good decisions and is accurate in the short game. It doesn't look like he has a big arm which will limit his upside.

There was an underneath defender, it would've been picked. That specific throw looked like it had enough velocity on it, it was just great defense.

But, forget about Flynn, let's trade for Caleb Hanie. I liked him back in 2008, when he was first entering the draft. His arm is strong enough, and he has enough control over the ball to put touch on it. I think, given the opportunity, he'll do well.

Writing off Flynn just because he hasn't started in many games is foolish. Too many of you are making that mistake.

Criticize his arm strength and game management skills if you want. Don't claim that he can't play in the league just because we haven't seen him do it. Tons of great quarterbacks were backups at first and had to be traded to a new team before they had a chance to shine. Finding those diamonds in the rough is what a great front office does.

I like him. I'm just not sure he's available. If I were the Packers, I wouldn't trade him.

There is always the chance that the Titans bring in more than one guy.. Rusty Smith is the only QB on the roster, so its almost a clean slate.. he may not even be here come august... So why not trade for a Flynn, Sign a Bulger and draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd with a Defensive 1st rounder/ trade down for more picks....
