    Pubically, they haven't said what they want. But my spidey senses are telling me they will want alot. But, the Bengals said they won't give him up.. so why are we even talking about this?

    We are talking about this because there are no guarantees in the NFL and Carson Palmer would definitely be on Bud Adams list for potential starting QB's .. Bud and Mikex2 have repeatedly said the goal is a superbowl.. they are going to make the necessary moves to have this goal accomplised.. bud is not 60 anymore..

    Agreed. The offseason is a chess match. I don't think any organization will show its hand until the CBA is worked out. If it takes longer than expected than things will get interesting. If Palmer, Orton, and Kolb aren't options where do we go? McNabb would be the only option left.

    I don't know what Munch would do at that point.

    Heres the newest buzz via ESPN:

    Titans are considering signing Packers QB Coach Tom Clements to our OC spot. Mike Reintfeld is close friends with Ted Thompson, so it could make sense.. But here is the kicker, if Clements is brought in it is believed that Matt Flynn may be the Titans choice for a QB they will trade for...

    Whats your take guys?

    WOW. Don't tell Jesse until he is done with work, his dirt farm isn't going to plow itself.

    Always nice to see a fellow WVian.
    I know some have mentioned his int's and say that he is not accurate. But with the lack of good QB's in the NFL right now I think it would be crazy to not go after him since we are in need of a QB. But this is all for not, as I think he will either be playing for the Bengals or retired next season.

    Flynn has been near the top of my list all along (go back through my posts if you care to read what I said on him in the past).

    If the Titans really believe he can be a starter in this league, I would happily give up a 3rd. Maybe even a 2nd. The key is that someone who has been around Flynn in his career so far will have to be involved on the Titans side of the deal. You can't blindly trade for a player like that. You have to have someone on your staff who knows what he can be because he has seen it first-hand.

    I wouldn't mind Flynn, if we get Clements and Clements thinks he has potential.

    As a starter this year:
    @Det = 15/27, 177 yards, 0 TDs 1 INT, 2 sacks
    3 rushes 10 yards

    @NE = 24/37, 251 yards, 3 TDs 1 INT, 5 sacks
    3 rushes 13 yards

    39/64 (61%), 428 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INT, 7 sacks
    6 rushes, 23 yards

    Keep in mind he has some great WR target to throw to - but no RB. If he plays like he did in NE, I'd def want him.. but that DET game scares me. I'd give up a 4th round this year, and a late pick next year. Then we could go DEF hard in the draft (and maybe a G/C)

    He certainly did have RB help when he played New England. John Kuhn may not have shown up on the stat sheet as having a great outing, but he was the go-to man on nearly every 3rd down. Flynn relies heavily on his RB for help. He'll get that here with C.J.. I like Flynn, and for the record, I picked GB to win that game knowing Rodgers was out.
