And can we please stop talking about Hawkins as a viable player on this team? He did nothing for 3 years! Not because more experienced players were playing ahead of him in fact less experienced players were playing ahead of him like Britt and Williams. He sucks and should be gone.

I think Hawkins is good. He has played well when he received the chance and he was good on special teams, again when he received the chance. He caught more balls and had more yards than Desean Jackson their last year at Cal. Given the opportunity, he could catch a lot of balls for someone. I bet he probably catches a touchdown against the Titans at some point.

Britt and Williams were higher picks, so that's why they got more of a chance.

He should have went to the Pro Bowl this year, despite the injury. He has been really consistent this yr, except for the occasional dropped ball. - that though, I wanna see of him next year. Britt is Beast!

The Kenny Britt pick has turned out to be a guy that made me forgive our FO for guys like Paul Williams and Tyrone Calico. He's a natural and that is what has me more hopeful than anything right now. He will only get better and that is definitely something to get excited over.

I must admit I didn't know much about him when we took him and was kinda like WTF especially when we needed LB help but I can now say that I am glad we took him when we did.

Dude, calm down before you bust a nut in your pants. I know you love the sound of your own keyboard, but you should really read other people's posts first as it can be really beneficial.

First, nobody here thinks Moss is still 23, get that through your head. Secondly, Moss wasn't a scrub last season before we picked him up. Pats let him go because Belichick wore the pants, and they got a third round pick for a 33 year old receiver (at the time, a lot of people even thought the Vikes got a steal). Vikings let him go because Chilly thought he wore the pants and wanted to put his foot down...he was then highly criticized for cutting Moss out of the blue, and was also ultimately fired.

And a little education for you, we were also dead last in total plays, and just 25th in passing yards, so our passing game as a whole wasn't exactly lighting things up. More education for you, it's kinda hard to produce when you aren't seeing the field, Fisher pretty much said he was brought in as a decoy. And speaking of Fisher, if you're about to tell me how if Moss deserved playing time, then Fisher, being the coach, would have played him, save it...don't always trust his judgement, that coach right now is currently jobless.

As I said, our two most promising receivers are still babies at just 22 years of age, so having arguably the second greatest receiver of all time stick around for some wisdom would be nice. And Moss still has some game, he'd be a solid number 2 splitting time with D-Will and Nate. He's been on his best behavior with us, so for the right price, if he wants to stay, I'd welcome him with open arms. If he goes back to his old ways of being a cancer, he'll be expendable, can be easily cut and no one will shed a tear, simple as that.

I approve of every word of this post. This is exactly how I feel about the situation. Moss can probably give us 500-700 yards if he's healthy and properly used. Like on the field at the same time as Britt, for instance. Christ, we may even have a 4 receiver set if Moss sticks around...something the Titans fans have never even seen before. Britt and Moss out wide Williams and Washington in the slots? I like it.

The difference between Randy Moss and Kenny Britt is, Randy Moss doesn't hurt himself (yes himself) trying to catch a ball.

If you can't even RUN DOWN THE FIELD without going on IR, then you have no place in this league.

Britt needs to be traded, for someone like Derrik Mason ;) If only Derrik Mason were 10 years younger.

Congratulations on making the worst suggestion I've seen on this board since Jesse suggested Rusty Smith was the answer.
