Really any facts to back that up? Flacco has a higher passing rating, better TD to int ratio and he has gone to the playoffs 3 times and won a least one post season game each year. In Mcnair's only playoff game with the Ravens he sucked. In fact Mcnair's playoff numbers suck overall.

I would have more respect for an opinion if there were some facts to back it up. Don't be like Duece or eric.

The guy has played 3 full seasons and 7 playoff games and you want to talk about 3 passes. Why do you always miss the big picture? Always! To say flacco sucks is retarded.

Flacco has a career passing rating of 88 and almost has 2X the Tds to ints. That in his first 3 seasons as a pro. How many Qbs have those numbers over their first 3 seasons? Peyton Manning's passing rating after 3 seasons was 86. Tom brady's first 3 seasons as a starter his passing rating was 86.

Flacco's regular season record as a starting QB is 32-16.

Oh he has yet to miss a start.

So WTF more should the guy do? He never misses a game. He showed tremendous poise in his first playoff game as a rookie against us in 08. He produces almost 2 Tds for every turnover.

My apologies for being factual. You and eric hate factual eric gave an "it sucks" to titan Jeff for being factual. Quite damn pathetic if you ask me.

Next time try to avoid your gut opinion and try a little homework first.

A little advice for Eric and Duece. Think the opposite!

Take whatever gut feeling you have whatever instantaneous opinion that pops into your head and just do the opposite. It worked for George Castanza maybe it will work for you guys.

Guys, you're acting like one season defines a player.

I NEVER said I would take a 30+ year old McNair over Flacco. I just said McNair is the best QB the Ravens have ever had... which he is. You've got to look at the entire career of a player. McNair did way more than Flacco has done so far. That doesn't mean Flacco can't become a better QB than McNair was. But, for the time being, I don't see how anyone can say Flacco > McNair. Just wrong.

    McNair: 31,304 yds, 174 TD, 60.1%, 82.8 QB rating
    Flacco: 10,206 yds, 60 TD, 62.0%, 87.9 QB rating

Flacco's numbers are very impressive. As you said, his QB rating is better. However, he still hasn't played in this league long enough to deem him superior to #9.

Also, keep in mind McNair's ability to scramble and escape pressure. He ran for 3500 yds and 37 TDs throughout his career.

I would trade a first for him. We could have Flacco or another Derrick Morgan

    McNair's numbers-90% Titan
    Flacco's numbers-100% Raven

We are not comparing their careers, just what they have done for the team.

What??!?!?!? You are comparing McNair's ENTIRE career to Flacco? McNair spent his last, less productive 2 years with the Ravens.

There is no reason to take McNair's full career into perspective there. That's like saying the best QB the Chiefs ever had was Joe Montana. He was not the best while he was there.

The version of Steve McNair that the Ravens got was not even close to the same QB the Titans had for all of his productive years. I don't think you can call McNair the Ravens' best QB, because he never performed like the best there.

Do Cowboys fans consider Eddie George to be a top RB they've ever had?

    In the top 10?

    In the top 20?

How about Favre with the Jets?

    Moss with the Titans?

    Priest Holmes with the Ravens?

    T.O. with the Bengals?

    McNabb with the Redskins?

    Seymour with the Raiders?

Jerry Rice with the Raiders and Seahawks?

    Moon with the Seahawks?

    Shaun Alexander for the Redskins?

    Larry Johnson with the Bengals?

RollTide... yeah. I was basing him sucking in crunch time on 3 passes.

Since I mentioned his latest suck-fest, that means the only thing I've seen of him were those 3 passes.

Think the opposite? Every time I read one of your stupid posts. Thanks for the advice.

The McNair the Ravens had was pretty even with Flacco imo. Then again, I think Flacco is very average.
