Same here. Too much up in the air for a whole bunch of staff turnover craziness. Hey, this was an expensive five years for BA.

I'm so sick of everyone using the CBA as an excuse to be lazy. There's going to be football next year and teams need to treat it as such.

It has nothing to do with being lazy...if the players are locked out it could last right up until the new season starts. This means no contact between the new coach and players until then. That is tough enough for a team for an established system, but it would likely be a disaster for a team trying to incorporate a new system.

Other teams have hired new coaches...yes I know. I think that they are gambling that the CBA is resolved. If we hire Munchak we are gambling that it is not resolved. That is all I am saying. I am not familiar enough with how the negotiations are going to criticize either of these approaches...

I agree with those who say Munchak would just be Fisher all over again. I can already sense conservative, predictable game-planning approaching.

    We've got to look elsewhere.

The mutiny is starting already and the guy hasn't even had a chance to move into the office. I don't know what to expect from Munchak as HC but I do know Muchak is not Jeff Fisher.

Munchak seems like he has a very high football IQ. How do some of you know that he won't do things differently if in a different position than he is now? Just b/c he was on the staff of Fisher? There were plenty of guys who were under Bel with the Patriots but when they got their head coach chance, they switched to their own philosophy. Munchak is his own man.

Based on what? Are you talking about the scheme? Attitude? Discipline?

Only the OL knows his coaching style because that's all he's coached. He's not had any input as to the offensive or defensive play-calling, scheme, etc.

Look at every successful coach in the league and I bet you'll find most worked as a position coach or coordinator under another successful coach who eventually was fired.

Is Rex Ryan coaching just like Brian Billick? Belichick like Parcells? These guys are not clones of their bosses.

If the FO really wants to "go in a new direction" they must go outside. We need to talk to Greg, Bill, & Jon before seriously looking inside.

Seems like Fisher Floyd Reesed us. Signed some bad contracts, and skated off.

If munch does get the job ill support him 100 % but i would not be happy. I feel like this team needs someone from the outside that can motivate them
