So if Munchak is named Head coach

    The only reason Bruce even took the Texans job is because it is in his back yard. He is not moving out of the area again is my bet.

    We may not can get him, but he did interview for two other positions already because he wants more responsibility then the Texans gave him. I would not rule out him returning to coach the Titans under his friend and former teammate Munchak.

    Wrong. Only if the position is for HC. The Texans can deny the Titans right to talk to Mathews. Last year the Titans refused the Texans the right to interview Munchak for their OC job. So I hope the Texans will return the favor. :)

    I agree with your overall point, but...

    Chizik had a really nice overall resume and is an energy guy with a great personality to get kids to play for him.

    This is correct, they can block us from talking to him. Generally that does not happen when a coach is being offered a promotion with the new team, but since we blocked them, I could see them doing it to us.

    Nothing about hiring Mike Munchak makes any sense. This is why all NFL teams need a director of common sense. A guy to veto all ideas that are really freaking stupid... like this one.

    Hey! Lets bring in an older version of Jeff Fisher! That will turn it around!!!
