Point being is that Fisher is driving the organization into the ground, when a team loses as many fans as the Titans have lost in the last couple months then it becomes difficult for that team to have success. The goal of a team is to win and gain a fan base. Neither of those things are happening right now.

The other purpose is so that all the fans that are in denial and don't realize the team is in this state are forced to hear what is going on and hopefully they gain another perspective. Hopefully they realize that it isn't the best day for the Titans and tomorrow may not be any brighter!

No actual fan of the Titans is leaving the team because they cut Vince Young. I will 100% guarantee that anyone who is leaving the Titans over this became a fan in 2006 when we draft Vince number 3 overall. At the end of the day if we start winning next season every single person on this board will say something along the lines of "Vince who?

And no it wasn't the greatest thing to ever happen to the franchise but at the end of the day it WAS necessary. There is no why that we could have moved forward with Young after what he did. No serious coaching canadate would have com here if Bud Adams had supported a player over his head coach. The only options that Adams had were keeping Fisher over Young or cutting both.

    I thought you left?

Anyway, we should trade VY to Washington for Haynesworth. Both players are going to be released anyway, each team might as well get something for them.

Honestly all the crap on this forum disgusts me. I remember when Vince suicide jokes were used all the time here, heck even titanjeff would. I wonder how many of you would say crap to him to his face instead of hiding behind your computer and being Internet tough guys. Oh well, you got what you wanted, have fun losing for the next couple years.

When we rise to the occasion somewhere in the future, don't jump on the bandwagon.

    Stay gone.

first I have heard and really not a bad idea. Probably zero chance of it happening but no real reason not to do it IMO

lol - I don't hang out with the same crowd that 'the Diva' does. But if he wants to come to my poker game in a month then he is welcome, but his shirt has to stay on. Never had to actually make it a rule before though.

I completely understand the situation if Fisher stays . Its clear that Fisher has no faith in Vince but if Fisher leaves to I question the decision of cutting VY.

Vince has had some high profile problems he has also clearly felt that the coaching staff has been undermining him but the guy clearly has talent . We have seen him drag a 0-6 team into a team who may have been one of the best teams in the NFL .

I do accept if Fisher stays then VY must leave but I do not know the rules on tapping up coaches in the NFL but I presume it’s the same as soccer . Its only illegal if somebody can prove it? I hope Bud asked potential head coaches their view on Vince Young .

I would not be surprised if a VY led team won the SB . In glimpses he has made the Titans look like real contenders . In turn it wouldn’t surprise me if the Titans had another ten years of promising so much but achieving little .

I must say that if I was Bud I would have gone with Vince. We have tried mediocrity with a Fisher led team and know what we will get if he stays but we have yet to see what we would get from a VY led team . He mat be a baw bag but some of the most talented sportsmen have/had that disease .

I could suffer one more year of Vince to see if he can make the grade before cutting him, if he doesn’t entertain me on the field he sure will off it . Not sure I can suffer one more year of Fisher Ball !

Honestly, if I were to see him face to face, AND, if he were to ask my opinion on this situation (I tend to let stars have their privacy unless they talk to me...that is only respectful, regardless of who they are), I would tell him basically what I have been saying here for awhile (and, actually, what I said back when I still supported him here)....He is a very talented individual who can be something special in this league if he wants to, but he needs to grow up. I would do this diplomatically, but would still do it. I have learned that honest feedback, regardless of how the person getting it views it when he gets it, winds up helping them in the future, if they listen.

I wonder if he had anyone in his inside group willing to be honest with him on this situation?

I would tell him to continue to stand up for yourself in the workplace and that it probably won't change anything most of the time. And that you don't have to work for someone who is undermining you. It happens all the time. Seen it a lot. And That sometimes the best thing is to walk away from that situation because you cannot win and it's not healthy. Start over somewhere else. Even is you whistle-blow it usually backfires on you and the lower level employee gets fired. So keep your head up, move on, and go after your dreams elsewhere. And let it be an eye opener that it's a rat race in this world and not everyone is looking out for your best interest and sometimes they will even try to hold you back for their own personal gain. But that's a mistake. You need to be in this life together to succeed.
