    What about it?

What are we to take from that?

    That....

    1) VY is capable of being a friend (yet not a leader) for his teammates.

    2) That SDM is speaking for everyone. Because he makes it sound like "nobody wanted him gone. When we've already heard reports to the contrary.

    3) He had five years of a chance.

Vince is a nice guy, of course he's peoples' friend. It's not surprising that people are sticking up for him.

I listened to that expecting a refreshing objective opinion that would alter my views. Paul Kuharsky is not that in regards to VY.

He writes the AFC South blog for ESPN, and is a vicious Fisher supporter.

In an ESPN radio interview today, Kevin Mawae said in a very professional manner that Vince many times did not know what the plays were and couldn't figure them out even when he was reading them off his arm band. Also, the players had to know them in order for them to tell him what they were. I would come nearer believing him than Vince's best friends. Leaders don't have to be lovable, but they do have to be smart and dedicated. Vince is neither of these and all the natural ability in the world is not going to give that to him. I would like for him to succeed, but until he can come to grips with the demands made on an NFL QB, then he is doomed to fail no matter what team he plays for.

I actuoally understand that, thats why my opinions are just on the complaint level. I just really thought Vince Young could be someone really special given a friendlier coach and a system that works for him. Thats why the Seahawks and Pete Carrol seem like a good fit for him. It seemed like we gave him a coach who hated him and demanded he conformed to our own system, and damned him if he didnt, and so did the media.

At the very lest, if we are starting over, better to get rid of fisher too.

I still have a hard time believing all this crap that keeps being said about VY work ethic. You do not get better every season without putting in work. He must be the luckiest son of gun that has ever lived or he is the most athletic QB to ever play the game in order for him to just play in a game without studying the game what so ever. Not to mention all the reports up until the incident that stated he had been putting in work.

These same "players" were ready to leave if Vince stayed? did these players not play when VY was not at QB? During our (2) different 6 game losing streak?

Its amazing how lucky vince must be that all other players besides the "5" in his side, have to learn the plays when VY is at the helm, and they win.....

but when Vince isnt playing....they cant?

Until i hear any actual names of players that want to call out vince, i wish they would have all walked before they made a decision on VY or fisher, because they clearly suck.

Mawae made remarks like that the first time back in 2007. Are we supposed to believe he had the same issue in 2009 while going 8-2? Or this year (with Mawae no longer on the team) while posting great Passer Rating numbers. Give me a freaking break.

I guess Vince is just one magical, lucky son-of-a-gun who can go 12-6 with the same players that went 2-11 with the veteran QB who always works hard and knows the playbook like the back of his hand. Amazing. Clearly, VY prevented this team from living up to its real potential.

That's why we are in a unique position where we should have about a 50% roster turnover this season. (we won't of course)

Change is scary so everyone will resist and bash that idea. But going 0-6 in 2009, then 1-8 to finish 2010 is HORRIBLE. This is bad team with many mediocre to poor players.

We really only have a dozen or so players that make any difference to the roster at this point. Other than that it's just a lot of bodies.

And went 30 and 17, winningest QB percentage in franchise history. Poor Titans, how he held them back. Fisher has proven, afterall, he can aspire to a .500 winning percentage if given a hard working QB.

It amazes me how people with throw logic out the door if they listen to propaganda long enough.
