Again Gunny, 1999 to 2003 did happen. It was the 5 years that Fisher had a QB that was on the cusp of being a consistent Pro Bowl player. Not even an All Pro, just a Pro Bowl player.

2004 was the salary cap hell beginning and Fisher hasn't had a capable QB since. Why not see what he does with another capable QB? That's my argument.

    He won 4 playoff games between 1999 - 2003.
    3 of them were 1999
He lost in 2000 as the top seed, at home.
    2001 he had McNair and went 7 - 9
2002 he had McNair and lost.

He still lost. The record speaks for itself.

Last I checked, wins matter and stats don't.

I've got a question for dbc?

Did Billy Volek "succeed" in Tennessee?

These two came out of the draft the same year. Next time do some research before I bend you over my knee and spank you like a child.

READ. that's career, not this year. Vince improved a ton in the last 2 years. We all know he sucked at passing in the first few years.

I honestly don't hate you at all. I don't hate anyone on here. Admittedly I like picking on you more than anyone else. But that's only because you like to dish it out so much. You grind my gears from time to time. But more often than not I'm just having fun with my replies to you.

I've seen very few people argue that there is no reason to not support VY. I think anyone who is looking at the situation even halfway objectively knows that there are plenty of reasons to not like/support VY.

But really man, you won. You got your wish and VY is done as a Titan. You've established your case and your feelings many, many times. Let's all move on. When 99% of your posts are about how much Vince sucks and/or how awesome Fisher is you are just asking for arguments and hostility.

BTW, I'm just having fun with my sig. The only reason I even have your quote there is because you are so quick to throw out phrases like "so-called/true fans". Just having a little fun with your hypocrisy there. ;)

I did READ. Just simply pointing out what this guy has done in his Five seasons, and it isn't much.

And as far as THIS year goes. I can hardly even count this year because the guy rarely played. I'm sorry but you can't take that 98 QB rating seriously since he had a fraction of the passing attempts as everyone else..

I'll concede that VY couldn't stay on the field and couldn't stay off the tongues/fingertips of the media.

My frustration with the anti-VY crowd is that even when VY was playing very efficient games and the team was putting up a lot of points and winning, people were were still saying that he would never be "successful". I think he could have played the same game he played to win the NC and people still would have complained.
