    Is there any mathematical misconception that can revert Bud ripping a suckling VY from his teat and sending him packing to manage a steakhouse?

    Talent =/= Performance

    Mike Williams also had talent and flamed out for years before finally getting it going with the Seahawks this year. Talent needs dedication to blossom. The dedication hasn't been there. Maybe it will be now that he'll be off the Titans.

    As I said on page 2, this argument was proof that he produces wins. You might argue that in the first two years the defense did it for him, bu in the last two years his production is hard to ignore because we were not very good without him(Understatement)

    From certain standpoints I can agree with Young leaving, but quite simply we are worse off for the near future as far as wins and losses. The point of the math was to put a clearer picture on that.

    Bah, You keep VY and here's what happens.. He plays three games - gets injured, freaks out, wash, rinse, repeat. The Titans get stuck with KFC anyway.
    Same cycle.
    Fish gets a year to try it his way. If it doesn't work he's gone.
    Lest ye not forget The Titans best season w VY on the roster featured no (very little) VY under center. If that's an aberration then so is "VY is the team savior" routine.
    It's funny how all the fans know more about this than The Titans brass who actually have jobs and scratch depending on it...

    Outlier???? Seriously... don't be clueless.

    QB rating
    2006 - 66.7
    2007 - 71.1
    2008 - did not play
    2009 - 82.8
    2010 - 98.6

    Anybody who opens there eyes can see a trend. Open up excel, enter VY's QB individual game ratings and run a scatter point graph. Tell me it isn't a trend upward. Never mind... I did it for you...

    It's a shame dbc doesn't realize that since VY was drafted in 2006, our record with him is 30-17 and 15-18 without him (EVEN WITH THE INSANE 13-3 season calculated in).

    Take out 2008 and we are 3-15 without VY. Pathetic.
