Our New Starting Quarterback

    Now that we've cut ties with our best chance to win, who do we start at quarterback? Assuming Fishface somehow keeps his job, he's stated Kerry will return. My guess now is that it will be in a starter role.

    No rookie could come in and produce what VY could have this season, so are there any FAs worth looking at?

    Honestly, the only way this team sees more than 6 wins next season is with an Orton or McNabb at quarterback.

    Your thoughts?

    Orton is our bet chance to hit the ground running and he might be had for a 3rd rd pick since we are picking high.

    All of us who have followed this team over the years know that we can win in 2011.

    As for KC i'm tired of people complaining about him because he is a backup only. The only scenario that has KC as our starter is if we decide to rebuild and draft a QB in rd 1 and KC starts for just one year while the new kid learns.

    Agreed Orton has great value right now.

    I would offer the 3rd along with VY :lol:

    Meanwhile I would leverage the rest of the draft to move up to #1 if Luck is available.

    I think Kevin Kolb is a bad fit here given the offense, but it would be a qb worth giving a spin because he still has a lot of potential, and he's unwanted so to speak. So it would make the season more interesting to watch.

    Why discount a young QB. Big Ben was drafted in the 11th round from the University of Miami Ohio, not exactly know as a powerhouse program.
    I hear he did pretty good after that.
    Of course If you want experience I hear that Fah-ver guy is available.

    Ben was a first round pick - that was the same year that Eli Manning went first and was traded for Philip Rivers. They were all 1st rounders as was JP Losman. If you're drafting a QB to play soon (first year or two) you probably have to take them high in the draft.
