Of most posts, this one is the post I will miss the least. The "all he does is win" thing is so overplayed. First, it helps when you can actually stay on the field to win these games.

2010 - 4-4 in 8 starts. 1-2 against teams that posted better than .500 records. Combined 22-26 record from the teams in his 3 other wins. Not horrible.
2009 - 8-2 in 10 starts. 2-2 against teams that posted better than .500 records. Combined 34-62 record from the teams in his other 6 wins.
2008 - 2 starts, won't bother with this one
2007 - 9-6 in 15 starts. 2-4 against teams that posted better than .500 records. Combined 38-74 record from the teams in his 7 other wins.
2006 - 8-5 in 13 starts. 2-5 against teams that posted better than .500 records. Combined 40-56 record from the teams in his 6 other wins.

Look, he has wins and I sort of get the argument, but lets at least look at who they're against too please.

 

No point in arguing this now anymore but that still isn't a good argument no matter how many times it's said. Most QB's have a similiar winning percentage against above .500 teams.

How many of those win the games against above .500 teams that matter? Not to mention how many of those wins we got in spite of Vince's play. We're not talking about Drew Brees stats or Tom Brady clutch in a lot of those cases.

I do agree we have a good set of WR's so you get a ^^^5 for that

 

And we're 1-11 with the other QB's starting in the last 2 years. Go ahead and filter that all you want with useless win percentages; 1-11 is still unacceptable.

I can see it now that people are getting ready to give the middle finger to CJ just like they did Vince.

If you argue with any member of the "Vince Young killed my grandma" group, do it for fun and entertainment. It's personal with them for whatever reason, so they're not really interested in anything you have to say that might put Young in a positive light.

It doesn't matter. VY is gone. And every person I have met from the board (The legitimate fans who give up time and money and don't just blab and talk crap all day) were about finished with VY as our QB. I would dare say all of us were behind him at one point.

And CJ's only going where the money is, regardless of what we say about it.
