If he enters, we should take this guy.

I remember watching the ESPN segment on him and just thinking "The dude is the Peyton Manning of the NCAA". He's the smartest QB in the draft class, hes accurate beyond belief, and hes a field general too.
I don't buy the "puny" arm bs or that hes too small or too weak to play in the NFL. Drew Brees didn't have the arm strength or NFL body either, and look at him.

Besides, rocket arms really are overrated. Jamarcus Russell and Alex Smith really panned out well.

This kid is a dedicated, hard working, and fast LEARNER. He comes to the line of scrimmage and makes adjustments according to what the defense is showing.

Would love to see this kid and Peyton go head to head twice a year in a few seasons...

I do buy the too small and puny arm BS. Drew Brees is a lot bulkier and came from a system at Purdue that has produced a lot of pro quarterbacks. I'm not sure what Kellen Moore weighs now, but he was 176 lbs a few years ago.

I'm not saying that he won't be a successful quarterback, but I think the chances are very slim.

He has already said he's staying in school. I like the kid though, he'll be a late round pick when he comes out next year.

I seriously doubt he'll enter the NFL Draft this year.

    He is only 6' tall

I think the guy is only 6' tall. Drew Brees is short but I don't think there is Drew Brees talent here. Big disadvantage.

He will be like Matt Lienart in the NFL.

You should buy those arguments because they are valid.

You never take a 6'0 187 lb QB with a modest arm in the top 15 picks of the first rd. Look at all the QBs taken in the top half of the first rd over the last 6-7 years. they are all 6'5 240 lb guys who can throw. I guess you can invoke the name of Joe Montana a similarly sized player but Montana was hardly typical.

Moore is a little like Pat Devlin a very effective college QB at Delaware who will perhaps fall to the 2nd or even the 3rd rd because of his size and average arm. Devlin is at least 6'2 and around 220.

And Brees is 20 lbs heavier also. It is because of Brees' height that he fell into the 2nd rd.

Is Moore even 6 foot or 5'11 1/2?
